Tenpenny Tower Radio doesn't work. All he does is repeat the station I'm tuned into. It only works when the Tenpenny Tower Radio mod is fully installed, but then it lists the station twice on the radio.
The radio works for me when only this mod is installed. I thought I'd keep it because Tenpenny says a couple of inspirational quips here and there. Two radios are being listed because there are two separate object IDs broadcasting the same signal using two mods. Otherwise, its working as intended.
Wait, are you saying you intended for it to not include any songs? Because that's what it did. Tenpenny says some stuff every few seconds and that's it.
Precisely. Tenpenny Tower Radio doesn't have any songs, but only talking. If you'd like to edit my mod in the GECK, go ahead. You will need to replace all radios in Tenpenny tower with GNR radios, and finally delete the TTR station. There's a couple of TTR mods that have music, I know one which has nice lounge music.
Can't thank you enough for this mod. Fallout 3 is my definite favorite, and it pains me not seeing it getting a fraction of the modding support New Vegas have.
Thank you! It was supposed to be released in July, but I keep finding things to fix. I've done a lot since the previous version. I would expect sometime before September, but I don't think I should make anymore estimates, I promise it will be soon though, and I am working on it full heartedly to deliver it in good quality. I was about to rush it this month but I believed it would have been better to take my time to ensure it's ready. To estimate I think I'm about 90% done, and the megaton house thing is completely finished. Sorry for having you refresh so often, but it means a lot that you're waiting for it.
Oh hey! Thanks for your enthusiasm. I'm just finishing up on the New Vegas mod, which I am glad to say will be complete and released before the New Year. After that, I'll begin working on this mod! I will be remaking it from the ground up, because I did a few things I initially did not want to do, mostly street litter related stuff. Also the file would be smaller. Anyway, the update should come out on memorial day, and I hope to make it 100% problem free, due to my high experience in modding. I'll update this mods description right now!
Sorry, I forgot to respond and edit my comments. I'm working on version 3 now, and I should be done sometime in July definitely.. I'm remaking it from the start so it may take longer than usual. My standards for quality for mods have gone up since I first made this, so expect a better experience. Thanks for your interest.
I had this installed during an older playthrough that I never finished due to technical difficulties with two unrelated quest mods, then started a new playthrough recently and couldn't for the life of me remember which one added the bonus content to the Megaton House. I thought it was More 2 Megaton but it wasn't, it was this one! So glad I found this again. The FO4 references on the computer in there are cute.
I'm recreating this mod (with all assets from this mod i.e. terminal notes, megaton house) into version 3. I do believe you are the first one to compliment my work, and I thank you greatly for that.
There must be some sort of missing mesh for Dots diner in Canterburry commons because I'm getting a giant exclamation mark there.Not the whole diner but something inside it.
Thanks for telling me, they're the coffee cups I added to the game. I will try and find a way I can put the textures and mesh into the mod so it won't happen, otherwise I'll delete it. It's not important, just supposed to be a rare item you find out in the wasteland.
I forgot to mention, if you'd like to fix this problem, please download the Fo3 mod called archive invalidation invalidated. It will fix the problem for you, one reason why it is the most download Fo3 mod of all time.
One thing that always bothers me is the character does not have a last name. He is either James' son or James and Catherine's son. Lucy has a last name, Both Lyons have a last name, and plenty of other principal players have last names. Now we run around like Clint Eastwood's character - "The Man with No Name," or we can give our character a last name. How about Jameson, or Doctorow, or since his father is English, how about Spencer or Grey or something similar royal and English? He really does need a last name other than 1 oh 1.
Another thing. I would like to download your mod, but I already have a mod for my Megaton house and except for those crappy stairs that also do not have any railings, the house is fine. Can you include a new version sans the Megaton house change? I would like to end the crashes also and cutting all the garbage out there, especially around the front gate of Megaton - old tires, bent barrels etc this will free up a lot of memory and a lot of useless rendering. Please consider this for those of us that like their Megaton house the way it is now.
I have put deep thought into this, and I think at one point in the future I will make an optional file which doesn't turn the Megaton house into a better house. I can make this easily. Thanks for your feedback, it is greatly appreciative friend.
I downloaded Version 2.0, and the Megaton Home Fix, but that caused the game to crash before I could even see a screen. So, I uninstalled that one and downloaded the 1.0 version. Now I can see two loading slides before the game crashes, still unable to see the main menu. What is going on!?
It's because you don't have Craft. I was just about to upload version 2.5 before I saw this comment. Download version 2.5 and that won't be a problem anymore.
BTW; in your case, only the Megaton house fix is required. You do not need both versions.
EDIT: The main menu problem is likely a load order issue. uninstall all mods except this one, start the game, exit, then reinstall everything else. and it should work.
