There is a new update. It will overwrite the .esm Unactive Kayla in your mods manager, make a clean save without her installed then activate her. You'll have to hire her again.
For a fun project you might want to observe all of the author's main female characters. It may be unintentional but there is a transformation of a little bit of each character into the next though FO3, FNV and FO4. Thus, in effect, tiny portions of Kayla and Jessi made it into Vanessa FO3, then into Vanessa FNV... maybe from there into Darlene. In Vanessa FNV look closely at Isis... do you see a familiar face?
I found Kayla just below 101, too convenient. I would place Kayla inside Springvale School or Super Duper Mart where the Player will find her fighting the Raiders. She walks around wounded, I suggest adding the Dialogue option to give her a Stimpak as she does not use the ones in her inventory.
Don't use NMM to DL the update, Manually download it and put it in you data folder. That's how I got her to actually dismiss. Hope this helps anyone else that had that problem.
Hi GePalladium, Thanks for this mod, I like Kayla very much. However, Vortex gives me a weird incompatibility mod warning. It says the archive "kayla.bsa" is loaded by "Kayla.esm", but is intended for use in Oblivion! No other noticeable effects, the mod seems to work fine. I don't understand what happened...
I've been playing Kayla since day one and now all of a sudden the game doesn't want to accept her. She keeps crashing my game from the get-go. Tried every version but still the game crashes. Computers can be a real piece of s#*! sometimes
Uhm... this is a tad late, but you probably just had a corrupt saved game file. That would be my guess. It may have something to do with this mod, or any other mod in your load order. Turning off the 3 auto saves and making manual saves is a must. Also, mods like "Simple Saves" can make life easier as well.
You've probably by now fixed the issue, but loading an earlier save may have fixed the issue.
I uninstalled fallout 3. If you know how to share the lines with me so I can record them, give the good names to the .wav files then generate lips files, you got it tonight, otherwise I don't know.
Hi Gepalladium; I am so ashamed. I'm sorry. I had your mod mixed up with another one. Your character sticks to me like glue and accepts any form of Weapons or Clothes I give her. Thank you for such a wonderful mod and please accept my apology. I really do feel bad that I was questioning your mods integrity. I'm am sorry. Thank you and you have a wonderful rest of the week.
