Im getting an error on the violin case. I has a huge red exclamation mark, and the violin is missing. I noticed that others have mentioned in so I thought I would as well. Other wise, awesome mod.
I installed the mod - it was fine. Then I remembered that I'd saved a load of essential items in one of the cabinets of the old house before installing the mod. The mod replaced the cabinet with a different one, and so all the gear I saved was gone.
I uninstalled the mod, and retrieved the gear, but after re-installing the mod again, the game just crashed to desktop.
So, the moral here is - make sure you retrieve any stored items before installing this mod, or be prepared to either lose them, or not be able to use the mod for that playthrough.
s#*!, I'm sorry. I know it won't help you, but: would it be better if I left one of the cabinets untouched? I would try to add a container that dumps all non-stock items in the house into it upon load... but I know better than to make promises I don't know how to keep. I'm really sorry that my mod messed up your game
However, you have what I think is a missing mesh. Where the violin is supposed to be is a huge red exclamation point. Usually means there's something missing from your file. The violin is not in the case, so I'm guessing that is the issue.
I checked, and I have nothing in my load order that messes with the violin. I am using FWE, so I dunno if that may be the cause. If it is, you should look into it, as most people play with FWE.
I've tried this both before and after 1) removing Games for Windows Live, and 2) using Madboris' large addr enabler.
Here's the chain of event:
- Games starts, load screen just fine - click "load" - select a saved game (have tried several) - when it tries to load the saved game, it crashes back to the Windows desktop with an error msg dialog box from Windows. If I disable the mod in NMM, everything works fine. Have tried changing mod load order, but that doesn't help.
It may be because you are trying to run it from a previous save. You may need to start a new game with the mod in place. Could be something in your save that is conflicting with the mod.
I've got no idea to be honest, I'll check when I fire up my laptop again (I'm on my new desktop). Sorry for this happening, it's happened for me with other mods but never my own. I don't know if it could be that your save is inside the Megaton house, or possibly something in Fellout is conflicting. All I did was delete objects and add existing objects into the house.
Okay, will do next time I mod Pretty sure I should be able to add the things back into the house, but if not I'll make a new .esp for that. I basically just deleted everything inside haha xD
I'm not sure to be honest. I deleted everything from the addons to the home, so it should just not show up in game. Let me know if something weird happens though, and I'll fix it!
Alas, it crashed upon loading a safe game. I use no other mods that change the Megaton house. To bad, it looked really good. I am starting a new game soon, trying out A tale of Two Wastelands, I might try it again before buying upgrades.

- Windows 10 64-bit
- fallout3.exe ver. 1.7.0.3 (from Steam)
- Mods
- Fellout (orig. + 1.23 patch)
- Fellout greener grass
- Fellout Nights Restored

Any ideas ?
Add a version with the upgrades and unique weapons not in it -- for those of us who don't want things necessarily handed to us.
Otherwise, I like this!
