This one gives a subtle but annoying alarm that the Suicider is near the premise of the Super Mutant Horde, Unlike this: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/21868 which adds the suicider but its a bit different because he has no visible carrying but only runs to player or companions then slamming his whatever he is holding and explodes like missile damage with large radius and also with burning effect too (ie: Vanilla dogmeat lost half (or below half) of his life, player will be killed or injured depending which level you reached and some companions will die from it, including the other super mutant surrounding him), this mod however sends your impending doom as it carried a mini nuke, and when he smashes it, it will instantly kill you
Have been using this for roughly 20 hours, and really love the idea. The Suiciders were one of the few new things in FO4 that I actually liked, so having them in FO3 is a very cool thing.
The only problem I'm having is when loading a save the game will randomly spawn a dead, mutilated Suicider right at my feet. It only seem to happen in interior cells. It might be because of the placeatme statement on the WeapNukeFist script (think that is the name). My Wild-Ass-Guess is that for whatever reason the script doesn't trigger until I reload the game, then runs and drops the dead Suicider on me. This has happen at least five times now, so it's a repeatable (albeit unpredictable) pattern.
Otherwise, I'm enjoying it and love seeing new stuff still added to FO3 after all this time.
This mod has an Unofficial patch flag in it. If you're not using said patch it will cause critical conflicts with other mods employing world space edits. The flag can easily be removed using FO3Edit. The flag points to a texture that does not exist, if not using said patch and will cause game crashing. Along with other assorted glitchola happenings. Just a FYI, for those of you not so savvy at modding your game. ^^
while sending 4 enclave troops (as their colonel...enclave commander + enclave improved + i play on the hardest difficulty) and myself via the hospital and hotels,we got far...but my troops got killed by the giant army of super mutants after some time. Unable to call for backup due to being inside...i had to sneak around using stealth boys and just general sneaking. Sadly,i got spoted and had 1 centaur and 4 super mutants run for me...i couldn't make it to the roof due to being outgunned and outnumbered. I was very lucky that a mutant with a mini nuke ran next to the 4 mutants and a centaur,i missed the first shot...but managed to shoot the nuke and kill my foes on the second...i was quite damn happy to have survived (due to the difficulty, the mutants would have killed me in 2-3 hits)
All right, I've added a video. When I get the chance, I'll try to make another. I might not before the next update to the mod.
If the video looks a bit jerky, it's because my PC is rather low-end - an A6-5400K APU. I was a bit surprised I could use OBS to make videos while playing at all! I plan to upgrade it to an A10 when I can scrape some spare money up.
You're welcome. Yeah, the AMD APUs are popular for laptops. Mine is a desktop I put together about three years ago for cheap from NewEgg. I tend to do that about every five years, which is enough time to bring high-end down to the range of regular folk.
