Works as intended. I thought I'd like it more than I did, but that's just me. Endorsed because it does exactly what it says.

I checked up on this. To replicate it, go into 3rd person, then zoom out. That's all.

To adjust the camera, open this mod in FO3Edit, look for Gaming, 00015616 [bottom], change 35.00 to 0.00 will put the cursor about eye level. 15.00, just above the head.

I've been using this mod seamlessly for over a year now, and I greatly enjoy the centered 3rd Person. Endorsed!

One question I do have, and I realize there is next to no activity on these comment pages these days:

I recently installed CotW to play as a child race. For some reason, the overhead third person view of my child character is off to the side as in the vanilla game. If I load a saved game of my other characters, the centered camera once again works. Is there something about custom races that prevents this mod from working as intended?

    Thanks.

SOLVED : The Metamorphosis Mod (that allows one to play as a Super Mutant) was the culprit.

If you're not using FO3EDIT then thats usually the case. Or all you do with FO3EDIT is make a merged patch and do nothing else. Very important to go thru every FO3EDIT conflict line to make sure everything is correct. Otherwise..... crash crash crash emo gonna cry lol

I know you wrote this years ago but you are 100% correct. FOedit is a MUST use in preventing unexpected crashes in Fallout 3, 4, and New Vegas.

Endorsed. There was a time when I used to wonder why people would ever bother with a mod like this (I used to think the original 3P camera was part of FO3's unique flavor), but now that I've tried it out, I can't go back to the old camera. I don't play in 3P very much, but it's nice to be able to "zoom out" and look at your surroundings once in a while, and this mod makes that much more functional and natural than the vanilla camera angle does.

Can you make one similar to Grand Theft Auto Vice City?
