BIG NEWS: I am working on a HUGE patch that will be fixing compatibilities between pretty much ALL the mods that are recommended by the Fallout 3 S.T.E.P Guide (F.O.3.T.E.P?) so be sure to track me if you aren't already to make your game ROCK-SOLID and get all those mods playing together nicely as they were meant to!

Just a quick update to let you all know that I will be finishing the rest of the DLC added items this week still! I have been working on some patches as per user requests over on my The Wasteland Patch Collection mod page (feel free to check it out to get some great patches for mods you may like, or request your own!), but as I am done there (for now) I will be finishing up this project with all due haste!
Once all the DLC items are added I will create a GOTY version that contains all the base game and DLC items in one easy to install package (vs 6 downloads) as I am sure many of you own the GOTY version (or at least all of the DLCs) by now. Once that is done I will be releasing a patch that adds support for FWE items that are covered by DIFF! So be sure to track this mod to be notified once this all happens.
The GOTY patch file names are riddled with typos. It seems only to be the word "apparel" that is misspelt, but it occurs in MANY places with various misspellings.
Yeah, so after installing this and noticing a few incompatibilities with a few mods, I was still willing to give this a chance. That is until I went into my pipboy to adjust my Enhanced Weather settings and ended up eating it like a bowl of noodles. Sound effects included. Heh
In short, this mod conflicts with major mods that utilize the pipboy in game menu to function properly. Other than that, it works great. HaHa !!
I believe the great MistakenMystic currently has plans or is working on a version for Fallout 4. He is the author of the wonderful Descriptive Icons For Fallout 3 mod! So stay tuned for that and be sure to track/endorse his mod!
This mod isn't working for me. I tried it with both the fallout mod manager and the nexus mod manager, and it's just not working. I'm starting up a new game each time and checking at the birthday party right after you get the pipboy.
some of the chems from fwe are with wrong description for eg ibuprofen says it adds rad resistance when it only adds some DR, dont know maybe is my load order whatever...
Must be your load order. This mod does not touch any such FWE items, other than the items that DIFF covers. Do you have DIFF installed? You can try putting it before the FWE .esp plugin and see if that makes a difference.
I like it, nice classic female version. Its a nice alternative for people not looking for "sexy" icons, so while not something I will use (I play male char) its a great addition for those who will.

Though full credit goes to tragiverse who made all these beautiful icons!! I definitely agree these are perfectly lore-friendly and work perfectly for a female character. Furthermore, if you use MO you can set up two profiles, one for your Male character and one for your Female character, that way saves are not only separate but you can also have different mods depending on your gender, like this one!
When you say "incorporate" do you mean getting it to display Vault Meat as is from the original author, or incorporating it with description icons for the weapons/apparels/etc? If the former, see below for a response on how Vault Meat works alongside my mod, else for the latter I will have definitely consider it and get in touch with the Vault Meat author to see what can be done!
It's good to see people still modding Fallout 3 and I'm still playing it here along with Skyrim As of I know this should be incompatible with the Vault Meat Mod, but I always had a good spot for the Vault Girl Interface cause of the lore-friendly pictures it had . And plus description Icons is now compatible. Cool. Thanks for this mod I hope the FWE patch arrives soon...
Hey xXCycloneGamerXx!! This mod actually can be run alongside Vault Meat, you simply have to overwrite my mod with Vault Meat to get the stats icons, etc. As that is all it adds, along with notice messages/karma/etc. The item descriptions and icons are untouched as Vault Meat doesn't cover that.
I will be releasing the FWE patch really soon. I do have about 10+ items already covered that FWE adds (from DIFF) so I am just going through the rest of the DLC files and add anything else not covered yet then I will be uploading it! Thanks for stopping by and giving the mod a try!
So glad to hear another fellow Nexus dweller is using Mod Organizer!! Makes for installing/managing mods that much more easier!! In this case, simply placing my mod below both DIFF and CVGI and then Vault Meat after you get the best of all the galaxies!!
