Early 2023 review: nice new place with perfectly hand-crafted decoration and design. Voice actor for lady did a pretty good job and the quality and volume of audio files were decent, so I can't agree with HeartbeatCity's point about "too quiet". You can chit-chat a little bit and help new vendor with one "little problem", if you'll pass a skill check. As for main content, cafe provides really good place to make dozens of beautiful screenshots near the river (especially on sunrise) or just a new place to stay for a while on your journey to Citadel. And I liked new vending machine where you can spend 5 caps for random drink or food, it was a nice "gamble moment". Nothing too "ground breaking", but also completely bug-free. Funny experience in my playthrough: when I went to this riverside cafe for the first time, my introduction was a bit "harsh" . For some weird reason, even though there is zero spawn points of super mutants in vanilla game near location of this cafe, I had to help with defending cafe from SM Overlord, which was stuck in new cafe room. It was hilarious and worked like an actual "non-scripted" event. So, should you try this mod in 2023? Yes, very nice new option to buy/sell things and to admire landscape while chewing brahmin steak or drinking Nuka-Cola. Endorsement from me.
I'll be ecstatic when you've moved on to some other game, because you're a royal pain in the ass. Like Cephaler levels of arrogance. So GLAD you're so important that your opinions on EVERY DAMN MOD are the be-all-end-all.
Wish Nexus would implement a 'mute' function on comments so I don't have to keep seeing this fool on every mod I download.
Stumbling upon this comment thread a year later, I feel the need to remark how strange it is that anyone could take issue with someone providing free in-depth reviews of an old neglected game. Even though I don't always agree with TrickyTrack00's opinions, some of his advice has been quite invaluable - especially when FO3's modding scene is practically dead now, with many major mods no longer being supported by authors.
As for this mod, it's obviously been lovingly crafted like all of Jokerine's stuff. Not sure about the lack of fortifications, though. (How could a place like that survive even a minor raider assault?)
If you're finding the voice acting too quiet, download the TTW version released by Jokerine on NV Nexus. Use Bsarch to unpack the mod's bsa file and use the newer voice files. The volume on those are much better matched to Fallout 3's npcs.
Excellent little spot for a much needed break and relaxation, especially if you've just started the playthrough and the world is filled with extra challenges and beasts just looking to get a piece of you (mods like FWE and MMM). Endorsed!
NOTE: Do follow the instructions for v2 to the letter, i.e. don't just go installing the v2 file via a mod manager ;-)
@KresoX What are you talking about? Excerpt from main page "Or you can use your Mod Manager of choice to download the mod automatically. To uninstall, simply delete the files from your Data folder, and you're good to go. Have fun!".
CobraL0rd -- check the "Files" tab and see what it says under "v2" file. First time I installed the mod I didn't follow these instructions, so I had issues like doubled characters etc. So as I wrote, just follow those instructions and it will work perfectly.
There's an odd framerate drop when coming close to the shop. I don't have framerate problems anywhere else and I have some of the higher quality texture packs and over 100 mods installed, but anytime I'm nearby this shop, the framerate becomes choppy at best.
Also, the merchant has a twin standing next to her.
I take it V2 was just meant to replace V1, not add upon it? I've encountered some mods that require the older version for the updates to work.
Edit: Nevermind, I get it now. V2 is an update, I'm just supposed to remove the ESP and replace it with the new one, kinda like the Paradox Merger mods.
Man, this looks really nice. I'll have to give it a go and comment a bit more after some play. BTW, I LMAO at your "Deal with It" answers..GREAT. Thanks for the mod.

Alternatively, I did another conversion for TTW myself and uploaded it here.

If you downloaded the esm version you need to uninstall the esp.
