I have a Request and a Great idea to merge this mod into the game perfectly, do you remember "Pumpkin" the tamed "Mole Rat" found in the office of "Ryan Brigg" located in the "Jury St. tunnels" ?
You could keep the name "Pumpkin" and use the creature as a companion reward for the completion of the quest "Ryan Brigg's Wonder Meat".
You would have to do some work on the cage and turn it into an activator, perhaps make the hat (black) an optional equitable item for both the player and the Creature (as-well as NPC's) and set the default location (of the hat) nearby to the cage (Maybe on top of the cage or on the bench nearby).
I haven't got the GECK installed atm but swing a PM if you ever need help with scripting or general modding.
Hey, sorry this reply is basically a million years old at this point. I don't really do much modding, or gaming for that matter, anymore cause of life stuff so I've not been on here in months. Thanks for the kind words, glad you like it. I don't personally have time to do anymore additions to this right now but I love the idea you have for that. If you can do it, feel free to build from what I made and upload your own version of it, just give me some credit for posterity lol. You have my blessing to do whatever you want with it though. Peace
Yes he is, with his fragile mole rat frame, I felt it necessary. If people want a non-essential version, it's not hard to flip the switch and upload it. Alternatively, five minutes in the GECK can change it if people want to switch it themselves. either way, glad you like it. Thanks for the support!
Thanks for the vote and endorsement, glad you like it. I'm not planning any other mods, at the moment. Not much time to mod right now. I may be porting Douglas to New Vegas pretty soon though.
