Posting this now, for posterity. The mod has worked exactly as described until now, though only slightly. When I complete the Nuka Cola Challenge, 3 of my companion figurines disappeared, Jericho, Clover and Charon. RL-3 and Dogmeat are still there (I don't have the others yet). Everything else in the house is there as it should be as far as I can tell, and when I loaded older saves, the figurines were there again. I'm hoping that by continuing to play, they will just come back on their own, as I don't want to have to lose hours of progress, but it's a small issue that I hope doesn't reoccur.
If it does, I'll likely end up putting on the version with everything already unlocked (hopefully that can be done just like that x_x). Good luck to anyone else who might have this issue.
Hey, I'm looking at making a TTW version of this mod. So if this is a bug I'd like to get it fixed too. It sounds like it's only the NPCs that are affected as Dogmeat and RL-3 are classed as creatures.
Is this the OnLoad bug? Was the save reloaded from inside the cell? The script which sets their position only works when you enter the cell from Megaton rather than load into it via a save.
Truly incredible mod, you've put so much care into placing all the objects around the house and it looks absolutely amazing. I love the progression system as well, it gives so much more meaning to all the activities you do in the game. Thank you for sharing this with the world!
What I wouldn't give to have this in ttw. Only got to play it once and since alot of my playthroughs in future will likely be ttw i probably won't get to enjoy this again. great mod and worth getting again.
I second the others who've requested a TTW version. I would love, love, love to use this as it's so much better and more immersive than any of the vanilla themes!
I just wanted to say thank you for this mod ^_^. I loved watching the house fill with mementos as I played through, and it provided a nice look-back at what I'd done at the end. 10/10
Hey man! Love your mod, used it in all my playthroughs, I'm about to start a new one and I just had a question about it, so in my last playthrough, at a certain point, not very far into the game, I came home to discover almost every wall and the floor had glitched out and were basically invisible, I was unable to access any of my items in the custom containers this mod creates, and I wasn't able to repair this problem. I tried reloading older saves, and even went as far as to disable and enable the mod, but nothing worked, I ended up having to buy another theme from Moira and then uninstall the mod and then I pretty much had to just deal with losing the items stored in the containers. That sucked, but it's also the only time it has ever happened to me and I know I've used this mod in various other playthroughs with no issues. Now I am just into a new playthrough, just acquired my house and bought the theme from Moira, and everything is obviously fine so far but I guess I'm a little paranoid, I made a save before and right after purchasing the theme as a kind of failsafe but am hoping this won't present any kind of problem. Do you have any idea what could have caused this before? I'm just nervous about storing a lot of items in your containers for fear of losing them if something were to happen again. One thing I did do is I deleted the cloth wall behind the bobblehead stand and workbench as it seemed to glitch in and out and it was making me nervous so I just got rid of it, other than that everything seems totally fine. Just wanted to see if you had any idea of what could potentially cause that to happen so I can avoid it, I wanna put all my weapons in the armory and crafting components in the suitcase! Just don't wanna lose them. Appreciate it if you could get back to me!
While it's ok for those who want it, TTW is not "superior" as it brings with it a lot of FNV gameplay dross like 65 mostly pointless and silly/confusing ammo types, which you can magically craft out of your arse with a pencil etc, along with all the sh*tloads of extra items and ingredients cluttering up menus. Then there's the silly timed-health thing - as if 20 seconds to heal you is somehow "real". And that annoying companion wheel. And it's not just me who thinks that - FO4 went back to FO3's way on all three! And TTW has the issues that you level too fast, and are consequently overpowered by the time you get to NV. The one big thing TTW has over FO3 is native ironsights on all guns instead of just scoped ones - though there are mods which backport it to FO3, like Iron Sights Plus.
Ammo types arn't pointless in ttw they add extra dt damage or crit damage in normal game and Roy made it so tougher enemies can't die easily without a better gun and a better round. You can no longer kill a super mutant with bb gun or chinese pistol... Tougher enemies better hardcore system.
Loved when I would complete a quest, head back to home and feel accomplished to see it displayed. However, as I progress more into the game, the mod makes my game almost unplayable when returning home. Took me almost 10 real minutes to walk to the front door after nearly completing every quest. Sadly, I would love to have this remain in my game but my PC can't handle it after all the decorations appear.
