First off, I wanted to say thank you to the Mod Author, he put a lot of time into crunching the textures and simplifying the meshes via DDSopt and PYFFI, there are a few major issues. Extracting the BSA and deleting the affected files will restored the originals. Overall it is great, but it needs more playtesting. Issues I found are below, I will add as I go.
Broken Meshes: (Show up as Red Exclamation Marks) megatonrampstraightreg megatonrampstraightreg02 megatonrampstraightsml babycarriagedirty01 minefrag operatinglightr01 operatinglight01 hateulogyjonesgo partyhatgo busshelter01 busshelter02 vdoor01 vrmoverseerdesk01
Broader Performance Issues: (Cause Stuttering, Crashing, or Mesh Distortion) Something in /meshes/landscape/grass is causing massive stuttering Something in /meshes/characters/hair directory is causing a balding hair effect. Something in /meshes/armor directory is causing hands to disappear Something in /meshes/characters directory is causing problems with mods that touch player animations
Textures: Normal Maps ALL Processing on the normal maps seems to have flattened them, I deleted *_n.dds to restore the original maps
Something in Textures\Pipboy3000 is causing pipboy and terminal screens to turn white, this also affects the 3rd person screen.
interesting there's "FO3" and "TES4" files and scripts. Fall Out 3? The Elder Scrolls 4? It's almost like... we're... playing the same thing with a different mask for like nearly 2 decades! Well, maybe not that far back but still. But you know, I am no "conspiracy nut" so such a thing as it all being the "same game" paying hundreds of dollars for is ridiculous lol. Silly, crazy conspiracy nuts and their silly crazy conspiracy stories lol. Some good fiction literature though sometimes. Yep.
For some reason some people are adverse to reading descriptions, and are thus confused as to what this is. Allow me to literally copy text from the description into this comment for those type of people, what this mods does/is:
"This mod addresses three primary resource users: Textures, Meshes, and Sound I tried to keep it looking as close to vanilla as possible but there are sacrifices you have to be willing to make if your machine struggles with this game so as a result you might would notice a difference if you were specifically looking for one. What I would really recommend is using this mod as a base allowing you more resources to install only the textures mods you really care about."
Is this still valid with TTW 3.2.*? I realize that if it is there is some tweaking involved, as far as removing some meshes, though I am curious about the sounds now that TTW is updating them and using the new ogg libraries.
I unpacked the BSA, deleted sounds and deleted textures/interface andtextures/icons and something else which i can't remember. maybe corresponding meshes as well. Then packed it with 7 zip and installed with MO2 and placed just under the ttwyup esp.
Running on intel 2 core, hunting for fps. This gave me an obvious 3-7 increase outside and maybe about 15 inside. Really happy with it.
Dropping this here in case someone else runs into the same problem: When using this with TTW, the mesh for one of the interior vault door types is missing. It took me forever to track it down to this mod, because when clicking on the red exclamation points in the game console I would always get the load list ID for TTW's Fallout3.esm. I don't know the exact name of the mesh, but it's the type of airlock-looking door that swings open, like the sort of door you'd have in your home, rather than the type that opens vertically like a garage door.
I met same problem and found a solution. Please open the file located meshes\dungeons\vault\halls and delete ''vdoor01.nif''. Maybe you can solve this problem. Sorry for my bad English from Japan.

Something in the Meshes\dlc03\Effects directory causes a hard crash when you encounter a Ghoul Reaver.
no "BUGS" tab. unfortunate.
