I thought I'd add a little more because it seemed a little half-assed. So I added a few more ghoul and super mutant camps and one or two more raider camps. They should make up for a decent amount of the free space in the wasteland.
I didn't exactly put a whole lot of effort into this, I just wanted to make my own game more enjoyable. That being said, I hope everyone enjoys.
interesting work here dude, the kind of addition that i need right now, now that I'm almost done with all quests. so far I've met one raiders camp for sure, and probably another ... I think ... and I'm wondering now if 3 ghouls (1 glowing one and 2 ferals) I met in a radiated pond South of MDPL Relay Station and East of Rockbreakers were your doing .... we'll see if this affects one of my (mods) in my load order.... so far no problems. Lot of added locations in my load order though....
cheers thanks for the great mod/effort put into this!! (testing v1.4 here btw)
So if the Temple of the Union camp is an issue, should I just deactivate when around the area and reactivate when I'm done with what needs done in the area? Or is there a way to remove that camp entirely without breaking the game?
I love mods like these, that add a kick to the game; I'm about to start a modded playthrough of FO3 and WMM is one of the mods I'm absolutely psyched to try.
This mod seems to be random in its CTD just because it could conflict with any random thing/object from other mods. it's basically a wild card. But there is no irreversable damage from trying it. I will note, however, that this mod is combined in WWM, and there is a version without this mod if you run into issues.
You can just use the updated version. I kept the older one as main because the updated one was relatively untested. If the update causes problems, you can always use the other one (it's all in just one .esp anyway) .
Possibly. Back when I uploaded it that version was more of a Beta so I figured I'd just let whoever really wanted to use that version download it without it overtly being a main file.
I thought I'd give your mod here a try and installed it in a pre-existing game (about level 5) where the save was just outside Jury Street Metro Station. Game crashes whenever a save/zone into Metro/move south (where I presume one of your camps is at). Can confirm it is this mod, since I turn it off and the behavior goes away.
Any thoughts on how to get around this, other than a restart? I'm not THAT far into the game, but I thought I'd ask before I do anything drastic.
Have FWE and MMM installed, for reference purposes.
There's a large chance that it's RAM related, especially if you're using MMM and/or have your grids to load too high. However, it could also be a conflict by some random mod that uses the same locations in any way, therein sending conflicting information to the computer. If it isn't RAM/grid related, I'd recommend turning the mod off and then going to a settlement like Megaton that is safe from enemies and saving and then try turning it back on.
I'm really loving this mod. Adds just the right amount of new bits and pieces to bump into as you wander around. I've played through so many times nothing really surprised me much anymore.
I was doing my usual run from Fort Independence to the ruins of the town with the Scavenger then to Robco when I ran smack dab into some raiders. I wasn't paying any attention because I KNEW there wasn't anything until I got over the hill and needed to get ready to snipe the Yao Guai. And playing with FWE at highest difficulty.... well lets just say I had reload, heheh.
This has made pay attention again as I'm running around. Refreshing. And the camps all feel perfectly natural. Very nice. Endorsed.
Thank you. Unfortunately for me, being the one who made it, I'm lacking in that surprise. But I'm sure once I take a break and come back it'll be just as surprising.
NVM: Started a new game (since my latest one was pretty much just for mod testing purposes) and turned off my HUD. Super surprising now.
Probably not. I'm currently finishing up More Quests - Part Three. After that I'll release all of my "More" mods in one pack called "We Want More". Then I'll be taking a break for an indeterminate amount of time. The mod burn-out is starting to pile up.
Sure. It's nothing that remarkable to look at though. It's just basic encampments with a handful of enemies in several locations. Big enough to see from a distance (and avoid if necessary), but not something that would stick out from the vanilla game. I'll get some screenshots the next time I play.

Simply removing all these in xEdit seemed to fixed it, ran into 4 camps without issues.
using v1.4.

Quick question Ono..
Do we install the main v1.2 file then overwrite with the v1.4 update or you the v1.4 update file straight out??
Thanks for your work and effort into providing these great mods.
And thank you for the compliments!
Just a suggestion in that case, to clear up this inquiry, would it be better to have v1.4 as the main file and v1.2 labelled as "Older Version" ??
Anyways, thanks again.
