I totally endorsed the heck out of this mod. The mole rats weren't too bad (nice to know they couldn't sneak up on you) but the racket from the iguanas was driving me CRAZY!

Is there a way of reducing iguana spawns without turning them off altogether? I'm looking at the MMM leveled lists with FO3 but they're all set to 1, which I assume is the lowest spawn chance. The wasteland is crawling with iguanas, you can't walk five feet without tripping over one. What's the point of FWE's thirst/hunger mod if all that is required of finding food is to pick up an iguana that spawns every five seconds? I'd really like to cut down their numbers if possible. Any advice would be appreciated.

I know next to nothing about leveled lists, plus I don't see it as an issue myself so I won't investigate it personally. I'd recommend that you post about it in the forums - I guess there aren't many that will see your question in this thread.

I managed to tweak it with Fo3edit by deleting two of the three iguana entries (one for each color iguana, green / grey and blue..or something) in the leveled list and leaving only the green ones. They're a lot less frequent now

So it was as easy as that. Nice to know - and thanks for updating with info on how you did it.

Yeah, I was aiming for their annoyingly loud feet sounds, but it turned out that it's really nice to quiet down those pesky mole rats as well. Thanks for the endorsement!

You should quiet the snuffling sound of the molerats as well (if you haven't already). It's so annoying!

Funny that you mention it as my new char was attacked by dozens of Molerats when she was heading to Minefield and I was very annoyed by their sounds. Let me experiment around a bit and I'll upload a new version - I think I should quiet down their idle, sniff and yawn.

Yeah, I use the DC Interiors mod, and some of the buildings have like, fifteen or twenty mole rats in them. The sound of them moving and snuffling and stuff all at once... It's just like, "ARRRGGGHHH!!! MAKE IT STOP!!!!"

Done. Version 1.3 quiets down all the sounds of Mole Rats.

This one of those subtle yet necessary changes that I always implement when I play as well, but just FYI this was already done by this mod.

Didn't know about the other mod, but they actually have different approaches dealing with the same issue. Quiet Molerat Footsteps edits the wav-files, while my mod edits the sound in the GECK. Which means my version is a plugin (which can be merged with the Bashed Patch if using it).

The end result should be pretty much the same, though. I think my version might be slightly louder as I almost couldn't hear the footsteps when I lowered the sound with 20 dB, so I ended up lowering it c. 17 dB.
