Dad's Reading Glasses don't sit right on my PC's face - they are lateral to her head on the left side - it's okay though because I only use them to repair items. Everything else is works fine, fits in well and none are OP. Thank you for a great mod (I use this one as well as a lot of your other stuff - thank you very much for your contributions to the community.)
The armored vault suit is actually used in the game. You can get it from Moira Brown in the beginning of the game. You can even see it behind the counter, before you have it yourself.
Ah right ok the GECK doesn't show the activator used in the game, maybe Moira uses a static version which disables after a quest stage...it's been a while since I actually played.
I'm guessing he didn't mean in that sense, he meant the model of it hanging as it is isn't used. Yes you can get it but that display model is never used is what I think he's getting at.
He's talking about the "activator" not the suit itself. The GECK shows that there is an activator for the player to walk up to the display "activate" it and collect the suit into your inventory.
This makes the beginning easier which is actually useful when using FWE especially the armor due to the increased damage that NPCs do to the player so i am endorsing. Though there is something I wanted to point out about the description, you put "when the player is in his/her room talking to Amanda" her name is actually Amata but that doesn't matter, still endorsing.
