Oh wow. Someone actually looking at my old work? That.. is quite a shock honestly, lol.
Anyhow.. seeing as this reply is a bit over a month old I kinda expect you to have either found it or to have uninstalled. However, in the case that you stuck through, if memory serves me right it should be somewhere off the right side of Megaton if you're looking at the main gate. At least that is what I vaguely remember. This mod was one of the very last things I did with Fallout 3 before my game files became corrupted and I moved on from it. Sorry I cannot offer a definitive answer.
I hope you plan on doing more with this mod, one of your previous commenters askfor works on this great mod named shadow warfare, maybe you and him can collaborate on some stuff for this, hes great at mission designs.
Might do something in the future with it, not really sure though. As it stands I just want to get it out there as a resource so people can start using it for whatever (which will take time). I will be including a bit of a back story come the next update (whenever THAT will be), but other that no real plans to do much more.
Geck Issues: These have been resolved but with cost. Setback estimated at around 2 days total. Something was corrupting the file but has been dealt with. Work is being resumed.
Sorry to hear about the issues you are having. Unfortunately, the GECK does like to be crash-happy. It seems to be even less stable than the game at times. It is frustrating, but I hope you can get passed it eventually.
Even if issues still ensue after a while it will pass.. the GECK doing this now isn't the best of timing seeing as currently I have a couple of days to work on it..
Currently doing a bit of work on some brand new textures that will be added in at some point for a special something. I have some really good ideas as to how to get to planets (yes that was plural on purpose).
Once I tried to make a copy of Anchorage worldspace in order to use it for other purpose. What stopped me is the enormous number of collision markers. Those are used to prevent player from straying away from current operation area. Finding and removing them manually might take weeks. Is there any simple way to get rid of all of them ?
I figured it out. Might be useful to somebody else, as well.
One can create new Collision Marker object and name it 'CollisionMarker1' for example. Then hit 'Search and Replace' in GECK, choosing 'entire worldspace' option. After that just delete 'CollisionMarker1', and all the references to it will be removed.
Thank-you for the heads-up KnownN16htmare. I will be keeping a watch out for that update, and will take a run through it and give you feedback when I have the chance.
Next update (whenever I get to it) will be a simplistic patch that will be some tweaks to the fog and lod.
Lod ~ It will be fixed so it isn't so choppy (issue on the ice world since it is a more up to date wip version)
Fog ~ Bringing in a bit closer and it might have a color change
Smaller Mountains ~ It has since become a hassle of its own to just to try and give them the detail I want, making them all a bit smaller depending on how they look as they are now (as of this post)
