Fog of the Apocalypse cancels the effect of The Dark Nights
took me a while to figure out so I'm leaving this here comment in case any of yous run into the same problem if you want to keep the fog n the dark nights intact I recommend combining:
The Dark Nights Polluted Wasteland Weather View distance decreased
Aug 2020. Still works, but DIDNT work until i moved retexture mods under it in NMM (including any weapon retexture mods! ), so DarkNights is loaded last and overwrites all others.& Make sure to turn off any ENB in game, to get the full darkness. Its a great mod. thumbs up!
Hello Ohh wow, this is way better now in game, alongside pip boy night vison mod Pipboy Nightvision Script -- https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/14766? My nailla night in fo3 were still quite seeable so it made no sense if npc made remarks about it being to dark to see now it is thank you
Messes with clouds and such in DC Moods, so I recommend manually editing the mod to in FO3edit to give you the best of BOTH mods, basically creating a Dark Nights + DC Moods merge patch. Endorsed.
I've installed it manually but nothing seems to have changed for some reason. It is still pretty bright at night, something must be wrong. going to try FO3Edit.
Edit Found there was a conflict with another mod i had, changed some things and now it appears to work, this makes my thermal vision so much more useful. Would it be possible to increase the amount of light coming from lightsources? The lights on the Megaton gate for example don't even light up the ground right in front of them.
Making nights DARKER? I use nightvision goggles as it is! Anyway, it's great to see mods like this. As to the future, you might consider something like the Skyrim mod that makes it harder for NPCs to see you in the dark (Immersive NPC in the Dark #52239). Combine that with this mod and you'd have an awesome mod for those of us who like sneaky characters.
Yes, thanks for that dynamic sneak mod...there are so many good mods that just don't get the recognition, and we're left to finding by others' recommendations or chance all together.

This night mod works better for me than any other dark night mods I've found so far. That being said I only using high-resolution textures and weather mods -- no enb's
