A list of potential solutions for those of you still experiencing animation problems after upgrading to v1.3+.
1 - Place the esp lower in the load order to test. 2 - Rebuild your Merged or Bashed patch if you use any of those. 3 - Load your game, open the console, click on your character to select it and type DispelAllSpells. 4 - Remove your character's addictions with colturkene or by talking to a doctor. 5 - Make your character sit down somewhere and stand up.
If none of that works for you, there's most likely something in your setup that is conflicting with this mod. If you can't manage to find the culprit yourself feel free to post your load order here and I'll try to help you.
The main file is more up to date than A Cuppa Joe (FWE) - the optional file. Is it already included in the latest release or should I download it anyways?
I assume you're asking if you can see your character eating and drinking in first person. Yes, you can, but you have to start the animation in third person and then switch to first person. I'll consider making a patch or something for users of Enhanced Camera to take away this requirement.

I loved your compatibility port of bluebellfairy's food and drink animations to FWE! and I wanted to experience the same immersion with Imp's More Complex Needs (IMCN).
I got diernayr's portable camp and firebarrels and just imagine.. setting up camp and fire to light up the dark fellout night, cooking some food and seeing your character share a meal with companions by the fire, under the night sky in the open wasteland! itd be so cool!
I wanted to make this possible and the only thing lacking is the animation of eating.. it sets the vibe i think.. I understand you may be busy and its been a while but I still wanted to ask..
How do I set the .kf and .nif animations (from your food and drinks animated mod) to trigger when player consumes consumables from IMCN? I just wanted to know how you linked the original anims to that of FWE, then I'll just do that for IMCN.
I actually have zero experience with making mods and am only now reading how to use G.E.C.K. and Blender and Niftools, but I really wanted to see that picture of open wasteland camping come to fruition and any help or instructions would be a godsend.
Hey, late to the party, but the animations do not play while using headgear. Is this a bug or is it working as intended? Thanks for the mod, great stuff.
INFO TIP for load order if you installed the FIX file: UUF3P- FWE Patch.esp that provided by the UPDATED Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch on the Optional files download section - Player Animations - Food & Drink (FWE).esp must be under the UUF3P - FWE Patch.esp file or the animation will not work.
I Like you ... great mode and work perfect with Fallout 3 - Enhanced Camera - Enhanced Camera eating,drinking and smoke in first person view ...go well with my fwe and load order ... tnx .. and keep doing more mods they all really cool
Edit: nevermind, I kept having the problem after uninstalling. I'm still not sure what caused it but I think I definitely fixed it now. I have a feeling some INI tweaks can really bork your game up and cause the strangest instability.

- If load after IMCN animate work but NO IMCN stats update correctly
- If load before IMCN animate NOT work and IMCN update correctly
