About this mod

Quest mod that adds a A3-20 terminator android presumably sent from The Institute to track you and kill you. This is designed to be used after completing the quest The Replicated Man from Rivet City, but the quest will begin as soon as you load the ESP file.

Permissions and credits
This is a mod designed for use after completing The Replicated Man quest in Rivet City.

Background: An A3-20 Termination Unit has been spotted in the area, and it's said to be asking about you. Presumably sent from The Institute.

The A3-20 series are trackers. It's only a matter of time until it picks up your trail and at that point it WILL come for you. It is advisable to stock up on ammunition and stimpaks.

This A3-20 Termination Unit is designed for infiltration. On the outside it looks human. On the inside it is a machine. It consists of a hyperalloy combat chassis covered with living tissue. He is fully armored and very tough. If you encounter him, you, your followers or anyone that gets caught in the wrong place at the wrong time will be in extreme danger. Please note: It will be searching for you in likely places, but likely will not find you for at least a few days. If you encounter him and escape, he will continue searching until he finds you again.

It can't be bargained with.
It can't be reasoned with.
It doesn't feel pity, or remorse or fear, and it absolutely will not stop. Ever. Until you are dead.

==================================

Installation: Drop one .esp into your Fallout3/data directory. That's it. I have included two versions of this mod in the main download file. One version that shows an indicator on your map of the A3-20's current position, and a second version that shows no indicator. The latter is the recommended version, as it adds to the mystery and suspense.

==================================

It usually takes about three in-game days for it to find you. It will begin searching areas of interest and eventually pick up your trail. If you don't feel like running and are ready to face the A3-20 in a final showdown, simply wait in one location for a couple of in-game days and it will show up.

I should probably explain a little more about the A3-20's behavior. It is very strong, so definitely easier to take down if you have a group of followers or happen to be near some other fighters that can lend a hand. If you are by yourself you'll probably need to evade and re-arm or heal. This will work because after you escape, combat will end and he will begin walking and trying to track you down again. This will buy you a little bit of time.

As he becomes severely damaged you will notice that parts begin to fail and sparks and explosions may begin emitting from his body. These explosions can damage you if you are near by, but they damage him as well. If he is very low on health his battery may rupture which, while still functioning, will cause a slight but constant drain on his system, so if you manage to escape him while he is very low on health there is a chance that his circuits will fail from damaged sustained in battle and he will effectively "bleed out". So you may get a message later indicating that he has been defeated, as he suffers a catastrophic power failure and goes dark, somewhere out there in the wasteland.
