    I also did some tweaks, but mine make the magnitudes for health and carry weight losses a more leveled and graduated deduction.  Instead of single values, I made 5 effects for each (original plus 4 more) that stack and are based on base health and carry weight.  For example: for Rads200, it deducts 20 health.  If BaseHealth is >= 200, take 20 more, then again at 300, 400, and 500.  I kept the max losses at the original numbers, which occur if your base health and carry weights are high enough.  With this adjustment I have more warning and a bit more time to deal with high rads.

    This mod touches on each and every possible lore realistic increasing challenge plus harsher level minus double cons easily can be modified and changed using FO3Edit tool. I found myself not to make the difficulties any easier nor change values greatly but rather increase old FallOut 1 & 2 Special stat penalties including some from another mod author to make this one a hybrid. Try these settings exactly yourself if you'd like a still challenge but not as locked preset as the author made it, I will forewarn you my changes make playthrough different challenge! 
    Minor Radiation edit inside FO3Edit within "Actor Effect" under [01]Hardcore Radiation.esp side 

    Minor Rad Poison settings: Change Effect#0 to 2 to be only one Effect in top before below to start with changing other settings
    inside here next, Change Reduced Agility to Reduced Strength to Magnitude 1 (this is 40 loss weight carry vs auth setting 30 under carry weight)
    Change Reduced Carry Weight to Reduced Luck or any other you wish, i choose Luck like auth setting in this one to Magnitude number to 2 
    Change finally Reduced Luck to Reduced Agility to Magnitude setting number to 2

    Advanced Radiation settings: follow as above Effect#0 change to 3, Effect#=1 change to 2 
    Change Reduced Luck to Reduced Strength Magnitude number to  3, Change Reduced Carry Weight to Reduced Intelligence Magnitude number to 1

    Critical Rad Poison setttings: effects#0 change to 4, effects#1 change to 3, effects#2 change to 3 locate the Reduced Carry weight and change it to Reduced Intelligence Magnitude to 2

    Finally last change 
    Deadly Rad Poison settings: effects#0 5 keep as is, effects#1 change the Magnitude to  4 from its current setting 5, effect#2 Magnitude 5 change to 4, effect#3 Reduce Luck Magnitude change to 4 from its setting 5, effect#4 change to Reduced Intelligence Magnitude 3 and finally last and finally 
    effect#5 Reduced Carry weight keep as is at 150 or find something else if you prefer to keep away from additional weight loss. I honored to keep this one since the final effect of rad deadly effects the weight loss seems rightful and previously in the early stages the increasing strength penalty seems to hit the players carry weight much more effectively. Good luck! I endorse this mod, either as it comes or modified best rad challenging one to use!


    update 12/14/2021 anyone using this or thinking too consider going off wiki radiation effects for fall out 1, 2 and 3 to determine your best penalties in game effects. I much agree the mod author being inactive and the mod now long dead, the eyes and immersive players still enjoying pc mods isnt dead! I recommend changing values that reach 5 to 4 as why? The base beginning fall out 1 youd be dead already and suffering -6 impacts to your players strength and agility with -5 to perception, endurance, charisma and intelligence. The best thing to use is what i suggest or start everything at penalty 1 and anything effecting weight carry to instead reduce your action points vs carry weight. Change any damage to your health from -100 starting at minor to deadly too 0, why? I hear tell from others here who commented way before me this is a buggy glitchy risk setting it to any value above 0. This means you can suffer unrealistic damages to health breaking game play immersion so example stick to either using fallout 1 and 2 combined fall out 3 wiki radiation in game effects stacked. 
    minor radiation starting at -1endurance -1 strength carry weight  100 reduce to 0 (-1 strength will as another commenting reviewing this mod is right -40 more severe than -30 carry weight, reduced action points magnitude effect 2 aka -2 but you just type in the number 2 it will count as a negative 2 in percent more so, reduced damage resistance is fine at 5, reduced health change from 100 to 0, reduced radiation resistance 2 is fine. from here you can guess what to do for the rest! comment or message me for more if you need any tips or help!

    also in the picture minor rad poisoning gives hp - 100 . be very careful with that setting. you need to apply script effects always applies or else you won't be able to wait anymore because it says something like you can't wait when you're taking damage. and i think the -health is bugged out . just heads up. i'd avoid it and change END stat instead as END directly affects health. heath -100 is like end - 5

      Mod is long dead but leaving behind a comment anyway: great mod in theory but this comment sums up my experience well. Due to the -100 HP, you can no longer wait OR sleep while having any form of radiation sickness, which is very unpractical

    Love this! Radiation is really deadly to humans! Makes Moira's Wasteland quest to get radiated a deadly affair for lower level players. Couple this with slow-acting RadAway and Stimpaks, (for non-instantaneous healing) and Radiation Visual Effects (for distorted sight) and those radiated areas become s real challenge as they should be!

    a lot of radiation in the game is actually in the form of radiation markers...did u go around and modify all the markers in the world? i think there are 300 markers or so

      You can actually sit in the game, it just a side-story of the mod, you know But yeah, the debuff effects are serious. I can modify it to be more harsh, if you wish. Also trying to not to sit at that level if you'd like.
