   I have loaded the follower.esp file but cannot find zzFollower in the object window help this is my first time using geck :(

      Yeah its fine. The mod is meant to make it easier for people to make followers. Just make sure you give some acknowledgment.

   This is exactly what I needed. I even had the idea to have the follower I want to make be in Moriarty's Saloon and it turns out the template follower is already there. Perfect!

      I Can try, I haven't done a creature before but I assume it will be similar to human characters.
