While I agree that promoting some unmarked quests to genuine sidequests could enrich the gameplay, this one would not be my first choice. It's simply too short and too enclosed to be challenging or confusing to all but new players. I can't honestly see any reason for it unless one was to forget about the quest or how many pipes they had already repaired, and considering there is only three the latter seems rather unlikely.
If you plan on enhancing more of the unmarked quests in this manner, might I request that you prioritise ones such as Searching for Cheryl or The Lost Initiate? Searching for Cheryl in particular has considerably vague and sometimes no information at all to indicate where you're supposed to be going, and could seriously benefit from quest markers and objective tracking. Thanks a lot.
All you do is go around the Nexus, telling people that their mods are dirty. It's getting really old. That's why God made FO3Edit, so you can clean them. Give it a rest already. Sheesh...
...and don't start with your preaching about what the step guide says.
BTW: Nice little mod Stavros_Sk... Thanks for making it for us all to enjoy. Cheers !!
Really good idea, should have been in default game. I've just started playing Fallout 3, and had noticed this quest was not tracked. Looking forward to any others you find to add to the pipboy's 'memory'.
Hey, I dont know if you do suggestions but i would love to see this idea becomeing a mod here it is: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2028623-scavanger-mission/ Please reply (btw great mod i always do this quest when i start a new save)
Hi, I'm glad you like my mod. Right now I'm interested in quest marking some more of the game's unmarked quests since some of them are really interesting and they deserve to be marked in my opinion.
Since some of those quests involve scavenging (like when Walter asks for scrap metal to repair the town's pipes), if I start expanding them I will definitely consider your suggestion.
