   I'm getting red exclamation marks where each of the weapons should be. Any advice on how to fix it?

      That means the textures didn't load right. Try reinstalling, or if there are any conflicts with other mods you have active.

      no, this actually means the mesh couldn't load - otherwise you'd get pink objects.
