Indeed, using Fallout Mod Manager (0.13.21), which works for me (used it since it first appeared for use with FO3 in the early years) and successfully manages 50 esms and esps plus hundreds of seperate files, I am unable to use the package manager to activate it in fomod fashion, whether approached from the Add FOMod path or Create From Folder (archive) path.
The manual approach, choosing the red color, typical of current laser enabled handguns, appeared to work as usual. If when I use it in game it is problematic I will report back. As it is I hope this will realize the precise beam of a laser better than the current texture. Thank you for offering this in more than one form, for adapting to those of use who prefer not to use NMM.
Hello, by the way- spectacular lasers- just want to make sure i understand correctly in regards to changing laser color, am i renaming laserpointer01.dds to bluelaserpointer01-green.dds if i want to change the current blue color it has to green?
Well, sorry to come back but been troubleshootin this, for some reason laser is still blue despite rename manually. I went ahead and tried installing the FOMM version, however it said file doesnt exist in fomod: the mod was not installed when i tried activating so i activated the fomod version in NMM and got the list i chose a different option from blue went into game- still blue D: so its probably me but hopefully this helps your mod in case it might be on your end which i doubt, otherwise lemme know what i messed up this time xP

Otherwise rename "laserpointer01.dds" to "laserpointer01--default.dds" and then rename "laserpointer01-green.dds" to "laserpointer01.dds".
"laserpointer01.dds" is the replacer file
