Wow. I just sat down to write a mod that does this, and found this doing my 'homework'!

And you even have the idea to vary what one can do based on repair skill! AWESOME!

Hope I can get this to work. Actually I hope you will come back and finish this, as this is absolutely one of the BEST ideas for a Mod I have seen!!!!!!!

<Edit> You are right, FOSE isn't removing the items from the lists. It occurs to me a workaround may be to have two new lists, a 'default' one and a 'workbench' one, and use FOSE to switch between them, though I haven't given it any thought.
I can see why you were so frustrated with FOSE though!

As this is part of FWE I wonder if this is the mod which is giving me a "metalworking" note which says I can use scrap metal to repair items at workbenches but suggests no way to accomplish this? If it's not your mod doing this does anyone know which mod is doing this and how it works?

Glad you like the mod. I'm not working on FO3 playing or modding for the foreseeable future -- if that changes, I'll post something here. If someone is interested on continuing work on this mod, please contact me. Just note that I felt my work hit a real dead-end, and felt like the FOSE people simply patted me on the head and then forgot about my bug report (I could be wrong -- they might just be stumped themselves, or overwhelmed with work, or perhaps they forgot about me).

At some point in the future, I MIGHT return to the game, in which case, I may also return to modding. I've been known to change my mind. Hell, I came back to Morrowind, but that was after several years absence. I just can't say if that will happen again, at this point.

I definitely prefer this mod to Repair Rethought, but are there any plans to support DLC content?

Got my PC back on Monday, and I'm working on this again -- unfortunately, I'm still convinced that FOSE is causing the problem.

    More news...
    1. The problem is PROBABLY in FOSE, but that's not for certain -- but I can't work on debugging it now because...
    2. My PC died this afternoon, and I have to ship it back to the company that built it for me. I think it was a power surge. So this whole project has to be on hold for me, for now, 'cuz this laptop I'm borrowing is not up to the challenge of Fallout 3 or modding.

FYI: I've discovered an issue with the Enhanced (beta) ESP -- currently, it does not properly 'fix' ALL of the repair lists when you move away from a workbench (some of them seem to be permanently set). I'm still looking into the problem, hopefully with help from the FOSE people.

The non-enhanced version is working just fine, and is included in the same download.

v2.0 Beta 1 is currently posted. Also included in the same archive is the old v1.2 version, for those who do not want to use FOSE.

What makes this a Beta is that I do plan on adding to this before the official release, plus this mod has not had (imho) sufficient testing. It SHOULD work as advertised, but I just need to be sure.

PLEASE DO post any suggestions and requests for additions or changes, and report any bugs you may find.

    Completely understandable.

I will continue to track your mod, especially because I think there might be a better alternative to the Multi Sorter and if I can adapt it to work for me, I will continue to use your mod. Thanks and keep up the great work!
