I found Amanda at the beginning of the atrium inside a storage room on the opposite side that you enter from.[in the front of the room there's a hallway w/ 2 guards, 1 open storage room, 1 doorway held open by a locker.]
I STILL don't see her. And I saw the beginning of some playthroughs when she bangs on the window for you to get her out. She doesn't appear in the atrium storage room of my game.
try getting out of that section and then coming back first i went in she wasnt there... or i couldnt see her. then when i came back and killed the two guards she was there banging on the window as yiu said
Putting this here since I found the issue guys. Turns out the mod manager for me atleast, Vortex flagged it as a file for Oblivion, not sure why, not sure how to change it but because of that, when you install and enable it, it enables but doesn't enable the plugin as a failsafe (thinking its an oblivion plugin). Just enable the plugin and boom, found her after restarting.
Thanks for pointing this out, this was the issue with me as well. I found a way to 'fix' this issue with Vortex, I downloaded a freeware 'hex editor' and opened the "TiesThatBind.bsa" file with it. Then I changed the value of byte 5 from '67' to '68' and saved the file. This makes the file flagged for Fallout 3 instead of Oblivion. After doing this, Amanda was banging on the windows in Vault 101 as intended.
Amanda is nowhere to be found! (6 comments)
