RED PIP-BOY SCREEN V 1.0 (That's probably all's there is gonna be)

---BACKGROUND---

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Lil'_Pip_3000
So, background... yeah...
Anyways in the original production of Black Isle's Fallout 3 (Van Buren) They mentioned that the Pip-Boy 2000 would be replaced with the Lil'Pip 3000 Model. After doing a bit more scavenging around they also mentioned a feature that would allow the user to control the color of the screen, similar to Fallout 3/New Vegas' Pip-Boy 3000A. However it would only have 2 funcitons, green and red. I thought "Man, red would sure look cool". But this dream shortly died, at least until I took a closer look at some of the GameBryo's coding. It mentioned the constant updating of some screen color in decimal code. After investigating I found that these were actually the colors of the current Pip-Boy setting. A few days later and boom, I've created the Red Pip-Boy.

---Installation---

1.Navigate to My Documents-> My Games --> Fallout3, you should see a folder with a subfolder named Saves and a few CONFIG files

2. BACKUP FalloutPrefs -- THIS IS ESSENTIAL, trust me.

NOTE: If you have made any changes to the FalloutPrefs file GO TO THE "MANUAL" SECTION IN THIS GUIDE. If you're not sure whether you've made any changes to FalloutPrefs whether through Mods or manual tweaking, play it safe and follow the "MANUAL" instrucitons.

3. Hopefully you've backed up FalloutPrefs somewhere.

4. Drag and drop the modified FalloutPrefs file included here. That's it! You're done! When you open up your Pip-Boy it should appear red. When you go to Display settings in game you'll see that both HUD and Pip-Boy are set to the defualt GREEN setting. However the HUD WILL BE CHANGED TO BLUE. Just change the HUD to whatever you want, however, DON'T TOUCH THE PIP-BOY COLOR. If you change it it will reset the mod and you'll have to reinstall.

---Manual---

So, you have a modified FalloutPrefs? Don't worry, it's pretty simple.

1. Open your FalloutPrefs file in Notepad, make sure you've made a backup

2. Scroll down to the bottom, you should see a subsection labled [Interface] (It's the second subsection just above [Decals].

3. Under [Interface] find the line that says "uPiboyColor=" without the quotes, or just hit CTRL + F and search it.

4. Type "2566914303" without the quotes, you should end up with something like this: "uPipboyColor=2566914303"

5. That's it! Save the file and play the game! Your Pip-Boy's screen will now be read.

NOTE: Please read step number 4 under INSTALLATION, it talks about what to do and what not to do in your display settings.

---Porting---
If you wish to port this mod into FNV, go ahead. However, if you upload it (or this mod) to the FNV Nexus (Or any other site) PLEASE ASK PERMISSION FROM ME AND GIVE ME FULL CREDIT FOR THE CREATION OF THIS MOD.

Thank you good sir/ma'am.
