I was interested in photo number 5. I often encounter this error when my companion is strangely holding a weapon. I've noticed that this most often starts to show itself if I'm installing a new mod. But not always. Apparently there are poorly made mods. And I also noticed that mods, on the contrary, improve stability. If you want, you don't have to believe it. I have a mod for weapons that I don't use, but they are installed in the game. I noticed that thanks to this mod, my companion holds the weapon correctly for more time. How to fix the problem with weapons in your hands?
currently using this mod so i will answer this but in exchange i want somebody to answer my own question:
answer for the above comment regarding followers holding their weapon at a strange angle: NO! this mod does NOT fix the issue they still hold the weapon in the right hand even if the weapon is a big ass mini gun. it might not be held upside down but it's still held in the right hand regardless of weapon type
now my own question: why doeasnt the patch for "unlimited followers" work? i have it at the end of my load order and that damn message saying " you have too many followers" keeps coming up. to be clear on this i have TWO followers Clover and Amanda (Amanda is from the mod Ties that Bind and is NOT considered by the game a base game companion). i have NOT gotten any other base game follower not even the stupid dog so can somebody explain why the patch doesnt work
I found a solution for an inverted weapon. I am very glad that there was a person who solved this problem. Who, created a mod that corrects this error, or rather wrote a script. Here's the mod: Followers fixer 3-3. I have been using this mod for many days and I am very happy with the result. I am happy.
maybe its because they aren't base game followers or maybe it's because i hire Sydney directly after finished the Rivet City quest but even with this mod and the patch for unlimited followers it still brings up the message saying i have too many with me although it doesn't stop me having them
