I need the orders only for my companions, what file.esp or file.esm I need install for it only?, I mean the orders for example:

-Wait, then charge when I enter combat
    - Follow at a long distance, then charge when I enter combat.
    - Hold position here, and shoot at any enemies you can see.
    - Hide here, and try to stay out of the fight.

What file I need install for it only?

This mod is great. I just wish there was a way to make followers top attacking fleeing enemies. Some other mod (I can't remember which) actually gets them to run through doors when fleeing. It'd be nice to be able to let enemies go free for RP purposes, but I can't do that if my followers are all mindless kill drones.

Does this work with the Sydney Mod? Because I'd really like her to stop charging at the enemy while I sneak and when it goes {CAUTION}..

Well yes and No. I use the Sydney Mod myself and I use Phalanx. So they work together just fine .......But The special commands that apply to Vanilla followers and the few extras that Phalanx adds do not work on Sydney. So if you want to do something really sneaky or tactical you pretty much have to leave Sydney out of it. Same goes for other great Mods that let you pick up Lucy West, Brian Wilkes or Bittercup. You do have a bit more leeway with Brian for instance who is good at sneaking and will obey a command to wait for you before shooting but that's as good as it gets. Not saying you should not use it but, just realize there are limitations and you will have to work around them. Best of luck.

Well B29Bockscar, I've already concluded that Sydney and the others aren't for sneaky players. Doesn't mean a guns-blazing character can't have fun with them. Anyway this mod hasn't been updated for a really long time (2009? that's from another decade! ) and I've migrated to JIP Companions Command and Control. Thanks for the clarification. Malcolm could have been such fun to go with if only for the hilarious voice acting.

No Problem glad to help. I actually do squad level stuff so I don't sneak that much and once you have leveled up and you have a squad with the most dangerous weapons available in the game there is not much to hide from. However sometimes I like to do a mission with one or two followers and sneak and probe and lay traps etc. It can be real fun. I would still recommend Phalanx. Actually believe it or not Malcolm is good at sneaking and give him the victory rifle and some Nuka-grenades and he is very effective. Bring Brian along with you and plenty of stealth boys or The Chinese Stealth Armour and you can wreak some serious havoc on totally unsuspecting enemies.
One question though what is JIP Companions command and control? is it on Nexus?

Yes Malcolm's hold commands never tried them extensively though. He will be missed, hope to see him again in future mods I'm optimistic. Yeah I really want to emulate a little of Fallout Tactics in this game so yes, JIP Companions is on Nexus:

But in my case, for fun I'm trying some high Charisma non-combat talker type with bodyguard/s. Lol, he's some corporate suit who's too cool to hold a gun. Tags Barter, Speech, and Sneak. Now I'll have to look for a mod that would balance against your character's multiple companions, that's something I've always wondered about when it comes to having a small army.

Ah Yes I see. I understand now. Well Balance is the problem. Its not so much a matter of Mods as firepower. I'm on what will probably be my last game of FO3 for sometime and I find myself doing very little fighting as my team is so strong that I rarely have to get involved. I do because I don't want to just be a spectator, However its rarely a necessity unless I get a follower in serious trouble. What I have done to mitigate this and restore some balance in the game is the following: I play on very hard difficulty, I use a mod that makes tougher friends and enemies, I don't bring my whole crew which is like 10 NPC's. Normal operations I bring a Squad and try to trim it out for the kind of action I'm expecting. However sometimes I'll go in with just Malcolm and Brian and set traps and then proceed to sniping. All kinds of things you can do. I myself am a big Fan of Fallout Tactics. Love the game never understood the animosity of the Fallout community towards the game. It actually made a lot more sense then FO2, had a better story line was more flexible for the most part, had plenty of RPG elements and you could do some some real tactics with the game. The atmosphere was great! I wish they had done a Fallout tactics 2...... I understand they were actually planning on doing one but it got canceled before much preliminary work was done. I would love to have seen the final battle between The old brotherhood and the new. Of course with the calculator running things and an army of robots there can't be much question about how that would go :-) but it still would have been fun and would have closed the circle.

Yeah, the spectator thing kinda loses novelty, as I now feel it. But I'll stick to it. Good idea but the FWE makers themselves stated the damage system was made to be balanced for Normal only but to each his own.

If only you could, like assign them with your camera high above looking down, sort of like a Fallout Tactics game with new graphics. Like the Real Time Settler mod with actual click-move commands found in RTS games, but with the Tactics part cemented in VATS or even turn-based mechanics. I'll bet it would beat the hell out of Wasteland 2 gameplay wise even today. Wasteland 2 was so disappointing that it could never match Fallout Tactics in story and actual gameplay development (Its 2015 and its Cover system feels so..rudimentary.) And no Behemoths

I'm somewhat in the dark regarding Fallout 4 but I'd like to see some Tactics lore and mechanics finally recognized, perhaps PHALANX or something like it may reappear there. I've always thought their universes coexisted mostly, the idea of a more fascist Brotherhood as against the usual isolationist tech-scavving one. In New Vegas, you could actually turn them hawkish if I remember right.

Ive been using this for years and I always use this when playing FO3. I usually play with a squad and like to do tactical maneuvers and defensive kill zones etc. You could do this (sort of) in FO2. This makes it possible in FO3. It also helps with game quirks and malfunctions like Companions disappearing and MOD conflicts etc. Also has a very sensible way of dealing with the hated vault 87 squad killing routine. So if you want a large group of followers or are a tactics guy or girl I highly recommend this.

So... Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it be better to just make phalanx an .esm file, rather than doing that MasterUpdate thing? Just curious here, no need to bash me...

Hmmm, doesn't seem to be compatible with certain companion retexture mods. Oh well.

The only problem I've had so far is when one of my followers kills an Enclave soldier it causes the game to crash. This started happening after leaving Raven Rock.
