At the beginning of January 2014, I had to format my hard drive.
Since at the moment I'm not planning on reinstalling Fallout, this means that there probably won't be any new version of this mod, at least not made by me... sorry.
I'll try to keep checking the comments from time to time, though.
Seems interesting, but doesn't seem to work right for me, I linked a container inside Megaton house to it, and worked fine inside the house, but as soon as I left the house, it would crash the game any time I tried to use it.
This mod is very useful, especially when working on another mod. It's great not having to keep running back home, also you can keep the PB inventory nice and neat, without all the clutter. As I'm currently working on a mod and this is a great time saver.
Well just wanted to let you know that I renamed the containers to make them a little easier to know what's in them, another time saver. If you would like the ESP file just let me know. You could offer two versions then, no credit necessary, You can also PM me.
I wanted to say thanks for this mod, I am a pack rat, but I view this mod as a time saver. I turn off the cost, and then treat it like I had made several trips back to base to "carry" the stuff, only I am not forced to do the mundane function of running or fast traveling to accomplish the same thing.
I really like the option to link to an existing container. This way I have been able to combine my Junk-o-matic with one of the slots. for auto pick up plus return function in one.

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/1627/? by Quarn/Quazzy is the one I usually use. I'll be checking this one as well. One question is the device used to access the storage marked as a quest item? It'd be nice if it were due to not losing it during certain DLC actions. Will be tracking

It is marked as quest item, and you are given another if you somehow manage to lose it.
Also, it lets you "connect" with any existing container in the game world (I like to be able to store different things in different containers in my Megaton house
) from anywhere, as long as you have enough small energy cells to open the link and informed the mod of your will to use that container (just choose to "set a container link" and then open the container; upon closing it, the mod should confirm it detected it). This "connection cost" can be set in-game, and can even be removed (just set it to 0).
Was looting around and got bored with having to either use tgm or leave some items, and couldn't find a mod that let me exchange items with the containers at home without teleporting there nor that let me have portable containers, so I made it.
It isn't properly cheating, because it can be set to need energy cells to work (as if it was opening a "dimensional door" leading to your containers)...
If you know any mod similar to this, please let me know!
Seems just the mod I need, I was using the portable terminal mod which has a complete battery of cheaters stuff but I only used it for the purpose of storing my loot, guess I will try this one out instead since I don't need all the extra stuff that comes with the terminal

They work perfectly if you won't link them.
