I want to thank hairylegs for taking the time to do the monumental effort of back porting the years of work we've done on TTW to Fallout 3 (sans our changes for other reasons). He's done an amazing job and a thing I myself did not want to do as it's enough working keeping TTW up to date. Rest assured we will continue to work together to bring fixes to both Fallout 3 and TTW.

I hope you enjoy all the work we've done, from scratch to make Fallout 3 the best it can be.

I only ask that you be respectful to him and us, if you find something you don't like or disagree with. The amount of work here is in the 10s of thousands of hours and everything was considered carefully. Enjoy!

    -TTW Team

    NPCs in their underwear:

Step 17 in the Installation Instructions to start a new game is there for that reason.... along with many many other reasons. So please follow that step! I'm tired of seeing users not following instructions and posting this same "bug" over and over and over again in here lol.

This includes upgrading from previous versions as well. Each version depends, but better to start a new game each time upgrading.

    System.OutOfMemoryException Error

Please do not flood this comment section about this. This is a mod manager issue and has NOTHING to do with mod author's fomods.

The exception that is thrown when there is not enough memory to continue the execution of a program.

    What to try:

    • Use this 4GB Patcher on the mod manager exe file
    • Add more ram to your PC
    • Close other running processes and applications
    • Run in safe mode

Can you please follow the top posted Bug Report Rules next time?

Going into the console and clicking on the bugged objects getting FormIDs as posted up there, I can find them in the Geck a lot easier.

Also when you ask "Have you found this gap yet?" in your image.... You aren't running this patch? You would know that answer if you're running this patch

Hey i love the work you put in the mod but wanna know, does it fix the winterized T-51 durability and if yes then would like to know how to revert it back

Before you decide to do that, here's the bug fix explanation. There's 2 vanilla versions of the Winterized T-51b PA. One is the wasteland version that decreases in condition upon usage. The other version is for the Anchorage simulation that has basically infinite condition. This patch fixed it to where the player obtains the correct wasteland version upon retrieving the PA outside of the simulation.

If you want to cheat with infinite condition PA, then here's the console commands:
      Player.AddItem 01001F09 1
      Player.AddItem 01001F08 1

I am trying to install this on my GOG FO3 GOTY version, which supposedly includes all the expansions, yet after installing with Vortex, I get the message that there are missing masters, and when I expand on that it says that this patch depends onthe following files:
    Anchorage.esm
    BrokenSteel.esm
    PointLookout.esm
    ThePitt.esm
    Zeta.esm

Yet when I look in the Data directory, I see all those ESM files.  I ran the Unofficial ESM patcher first, then installed this.
    What did I do wrong?

Edit:  I found the problem, posting here in case anyone else has the issue.

The DLC was not enabled in the Fallout 3 Launcher.  I needed to start the launcher, click the Data Files and enable all the DLC listed

    For clarification, do we install:
Updated Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - OGG
    ESM HotFix

Or do we have to also install the BSA OGG file above (so it is overwritten by) the other two as well?

After following the Description Page Installation Instructions, download the ESM HotFix and follow what it says under its download.

This is a great mod that is pretty much essential for a modern playthrough of Fallout 3. I have encountered a strange bug however where Lucas Simms for some reason follows me around constantly like he is a follower. When I uninstall this patch and run a new game the glitch does not occur leading me to believe that the unofficial patch is to blame. Lucas Simms's ID is 00003b46.

Below are some screenshots of Lucas following me around. It is a bit difficult to demonstrate in screenshots but I am happy to provide a video if that would help better identify the issue (In the screenshots I am using an ENB which is why they look different from the default Fallout 3. I have already confirmed that the ENB is not causing the issue.)

Otherwise, it is an excellent mod. Keep up the good work.

Managed to fix the issue. Turns out a mod that I did have installed is causing the issue. I am not sure which mod it is as I disabled everything apart from the unofficial patch and its requirements so I will try and work out which mod is causing the issue and put it in an edit to this message once I have worked out which one it is.

Sorry for the false alarm and dragging you on a song and dance to try and fix the issue.

Still doesn't change my opinion of this patch as this patch is excellent and essential.

      Keep up the good work.

Edit: Found the mod causing the issue. Its bnb armor replacer. Also I apologize for not understanding the Bug Report Rules. I had interpreted that as bugs only related to the unofficial patch not as make sure everything else is disabled or uninstalled with the exception of the unofficial patches requirements. I again apologize for my mistake.

Hmm I guess some users don't understand fully what the Bug Report Rules are trying to say so I added on this to it

      • Bugs only involve this patch and the base game (No other mods are running counting out conflicts)

The changelog has some entries referring to the Karma dependent Talon Merc ambushes. I noticed, that I don't get these now in my current playthrough. That has not been an issue last time. After reverting those scripts back to vanilla, the mercs showed up as expected.
I'm playing with FWE and the new FWE-UUFO3P patch, so I understand if you can't give any support. But maybe you want to have a look at the altered scripts and see if something is preventing the ambushes from happing at all. The scripts in question are 3dbb0, 3e545 and 3e546. Not sure however, if only one of them is responsible or all of them.
EDIT: OK, I've launched the game vanilla with only the patch and it's requirements - maybe for first time ever, lol. I'll report if I can get those mercs to show up.
EDIT: OK, rushed through 101, disarmed the bomb, used console to reach level 6 and high karma, and the mercs show up. Must be a conflict then with my mods. I'll need to look into that. Sorry for false alarm here.

Check to make sure you have the ESM HotFix installed. The talon hitmen fixes are in it

Just installed this for the first time, very cool mod. I went thru the whole setup following the instructions, I believe I have everything installed, my MO2 load order is correct, and the game runs and plays completely fine when launched thru the mod manager. However, when I run the console command to verify the mod is installed correctly, I get "Item UUF3PGenericHandlerQuest not found for parameter Quest". What am I missing? Apologies if this has been asked before also.

I know these "works for me" answers are not helpful, but here you go.
Did you start a game or save and tried it from the gameworld? The instruction says to not run it in main menu.

Yep, I started a brand new game and last time i tried running the message I was in megaton. The game looks and feels pretty stable so part of me wants to think it is working but since the message isn't showing up i guess it's not lol

great mod! encountered a small bug today.. there's walls and textures missing near the end of warrington station, near the door that leads to where you can find roy phillips, i only have a couple other mods installed that shouldn't effect the textures or areas so i thought it could possibly be this patch

Probably ignorance on my end, but I can't increase/decrease the resolution when using this mod.  If I run vanilla through steam I can but not when using this mod through Mod Organizer 2.5.  Sorry if asking here breaks a rule.
