Ok. Standalone sorter have happened. Thus slight retitling and additional house-only version as a result. Old version is perfectly fine on its own. If you want to switch to new sorter and keep the house don't forget to rename new house ESP or simply move items in your game yourself first to avoid losing them.
1) You need to reposition the locker at the back of the main room (it's facing the wall), I fixed it by opening a console, clicking until the locker was identified, and then to get it facing the room I typed: setangle z 270 2) Upstairs, the dresser next to the bed is overlapping the desk. To move it so it sat evenly spaced between desk and bed, I clicked on the dresser in console and typed: setpos x 3492
Frankly, these are pretty basic things to have to sort out. Otherwise it's a really nice roomy mod. I removed the couch upstairs and replaced it with a bed for my follower. The only thing missing is a loo, though I did put a sink in that room-space too.
BIG EDIT 13 Feb 2021: to remove a serious ice cold nuka quantum bug - this appears to be a sin introduced in the UUP mod's goodies esp.
Any positioning problem is almost 100% caused by activation (or change) of a location-altering mod after visiting the place before. This is a common engine flaw and it is easily fixed by zapping misplaced objects (with selecting them and entering ‘zap’ in the console) and leaving the place (far enough to unload the cell) — anything persistent erased by zap will be restored in a proper position next time the cell loads.
Fridge is exactly the same as vanilla with only the model swapped, BTW.
For followers I personally just used a portable cot (FWE) in a perfectly suitable nook in the now-open room next to the bedroom.
Belatedly came back to add that this mod (at least the non-active sorter) works nicely with Megaton Home Extension PS. It's designed to work with the vanilla Megaton home, but works with yours too. It puts a floor hatch in front of your cupboard/sorter and companions will go down there on their own accord to sleep etc. Anyways, when I was last here it looks like I forgot to thank you properly for sharing. Apologies and please accept my thanks now. Regards.
For anyone having troubles adding containers to the sorter.
1. Click on the container, look at the REF ID. It should be eight numbers and/or letters. So like (08004921).
2. In console. Type Addformtoformlist xx004644 REFID. Example: AddFormToFormList 1a004644 08004921 (Don't need to add capital letters) 3. It should add it and work just fine after that.
When I add the ammo containers or any other containers with "Addformtoformlist xx004464 1", the sorter stops working completely. I save and restart my game and leave the cell. Everything I could think of trying but still the sorter just doesn't work anytime I activate it after adding a form to its list.
The dump tool works as a alternative sorta but it's...clunky....in my opinion plus its another item to clutter up my inventory which I know isn't a substantial reason but the sorter is a lot more lovely. :o
Overall the mod is fine and works great, was curious if you had any helpful input on what could be causing it. Thanks for the mod polbashkisneslo. :D
You don't add anything with what you typed, there's no way it could work successfully and there's no such command in the description either No rogue " 1" out of nowhere and "xx" in ID is not literal it's a hexadecimal number from your mod load order. It should look like: addformtoformlist 1c004464 Also, you likely missed it — I made Sorter into a standalone mod with more features and ingame configuration. I recommend it.
I only added the -1- after the command because I was encountering issues where it said something along the lines of the script not being compiled and wouldn't work no matter what, so then a forum somewhere said something similar and adding the variable -1- would enable it. (Not referring to this mod, talking about factions and adding NPCs to their list.)
I know it LO hex and entered it properly, even checked in FO3Edit just to make sure the form actually existed.
I know there is a standalone version and it seems better but just for simplicity sake I prefer the the built in one here since I plan on making the Megaton House my playerhome for quite some time.
Got a bit of an issue, and if this isn't where to inform you, I apologize. Visually, the house looks f**king amazing, but, the item sorter isn't doin a thing. I've clicked it and the switch, "grabbed" it and the switch. I only have 1 mod altering items, a weight mod and that was disabled as well. Any thoughts?
I hope you're still modding, and checking on posts here. Love the house w/o the sorter. I'm picky about sorting and storage of looted goods. Yours is the first mod that I've had the courage to change things to my liking. I 'zapped' a few objects, moved the desk in the bedroom (thank you for the 'getpos' and 'setpos' console commands mentioned in a comment somewhere below). I even went into the GECK and duplicated the potted tree twice, and moved them over to the other side of the upstairs area. I also learned when to zap, disable, and markfordelete. By learn I mean - if one doesn't work try a different one, and continue until you get the results you want. Again, I love the arrangement of this house. Thank you for a great mod. Endorsed, oh yeah...
this mod simply does not work with me...the only megaton mod i have is fixed lights. but in every single version the left locker closest to the main entrance door is always out of place, and facing backwards. i really liked the room compared to the vanilla...disappointing i cant actually get it to work...no to forget to mention uninstalling it can cause major errors ><
If you don't want to read descriptions then modding is not for you. Everything you describe is normal and already had been covered both in the description and comments. Either use save before acquiring the house or perform additional steps to fix positioning.
i don't use the sorter so the new update looks to fit my choice...so i'm guessing i have to remove any items i put on the lockers and containers and suitcases before moving on to the version without the sorter.
Yes, there is no switch now. I already had fixed fridge sounds earlier and lack of animation is because of original model of pristine fridge not having it.

this is my fav megaton mod.
As I said, even if you're upgrading if you keep the old name of the .esp file any items will stay intact.
I'm glad you like the mod.
oh and i found a bug on the fridge downstairs, it doesn't play the open/close sound and animation.
