Is there a way to change the defined keys outside of the game? My keyboards right control key doesn't work and I cant access the menu.

Edit: Nvm just used the console. But I'm having an issue where when I press the right mouse button, it brings up the hotkeys menu? And it also equips whatever it is in the number 1 hotkey. When i removed the mod, the issue vanished and right mouse button functioned like it did before. I don't know what caused this.

I wish there were a non-numeric hotkey item bind options to be used specifically for consumables like Stimpacks, Rad-Aways etc...i like my numeric hotkeys to be organized specifically for weapons and nothing else, like in most FPS games, whiole having say - "Q" key to be used for healing with Stimpack...i know there is a mod exactly like that for FONV, that uses JIP plugin, but no FO3 analogue anywhere to be found...Right now my only option is to choose between having 1-8 key slots reserved specifically for weapons and no stimpacks in one of them (which will force me to manually open my inventory everytime i go low on health, which s*cks) or having assigned Stim to one of the 1-8 keys, which will take a weapon slot (which yet again s*cks...), will probably have to settle for "1" slot to be stil used for Stmpacks *sighs*...why doesn't anyone come up with the elegant solution for the whole hotky buttons situation after all these years of FO3 modding scene is beyond me...yet we have countless of kawai and perverted mods and cheat items, that completely ruin lore -< priorities...

What are you talking about? Yeah, this mod uses the numeric keys, but gives you new layered hotkeys using (default) Lshift/LAlt.

So you can have all your weapon slots and put Stimpak on Lshift+1 for example...

Yet I somehow had loads of weapons, consumables and even outfit sets bound to keys while barely ever using anything besides 1-5. I dunno, maybe that's because the mod has multi-item and modifier features and I actually used them?

It's funny to see such rant in the comments of the mod which addresses the issue.

CTD *very often* while binding an item to a hotkey.

Not compatible with More Scrap Metal CRAFTing ( https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/21761 ). As in will make the hotkey required to scrap world junk not work.

Terrific idea, but could really use some polishing.

I have the following 3 binding for slot 0 (according to "Print binding list"): [[
Slot 0: Vault 101 Security Armor
Slot 0: Vault 101 Security Helmet
    Slot 0: 10mm Pistol ]]
Pressing the "1"-button equips only a Vault 101 Security Armor.
If i have only 2 binding for slot 1, then pressing the button works as expected (both items will be equipped).
Is it a bug or I do something wrong?

You shouldn't mix weapons with anything else in a single slot. It's, kinda, logically pointless.
Depending on a first assigned item slot will be treated as weapon slot or "everything else" slot.

great, but as mentioned, it selects the weapon with the worst condition, so i can't really use it.

well a little clipping issue especially when switching between outfits like stealth armor, power armor, trade outfit but overall this is the best there is, save me tons of mouse click and extends the left mouse button of my mouse lel

There has got to be a way to make this mod equip the most healthy weapon/armor instead of the most broken. It's such a great mod, but such a nuisance when you forget and pick up a new item and realize you're no longer do the damage, or taking more damage, because it's broken.

as the owner of a Logitech g510s and g502, kb/m setup with more extra buttons than I could ever need, this mod is a godsend that enables me to do all sorts of new things. Hitting my mouse wheel left or right lets me cycle through different sets of weapons at will (i've got my small guns on the left, melee weapons on the right), and I've got another mouse button set to cycle through my projectiles as well, including grenades, spears, and glow sticks. I've got 18 macro buttons on the left side of my keyboard and I've got them all set to hotkeys 1-18, so I can switch between armor and weapon sets, use stimpaks, eat, drink, etc. at the press of a button without ever having to redesignate an item after dropping it. Alongside various other functions I also had hotkeyed to my mouse, including aHUD's hud toggle feature, Directional Piplight's flashlight, FWE's bullet time, and Grab (More Perks has a neat perk where you can shield yourself from fire with world objects), this mod has gone a long way to help enable a more involved and interesting style of play for my Fallout 3. This is one of the best mods I've ever used and frankly I'm shocked it's not more popular. I have only three minor quirks -

    - CASM or frequent quicksaving is essential when editing hotkeys because of the occasional crashing during assignment, but the functionality is more than worth the hassle.
    - I appreciate being able to cycle between weapons on a single hotkey and I think it'd be great if I could do something similar with food items - hotkey them to a single key where a press uses the first available once. As it is now hotkeying more than one food, drink, or drug will use them all at once, which can be useful if you prepare around it. And is certainly useful for armor sets.
    - When designating new keys for the modifiers text does not change to reflect that. Useful information for anyone who just downloaded this.

Otherwise I recommend this mod emphatically. if you have a keyboard or mouse with programmable keys or buttons, this mod is absolutely essential.
