Until this mod is integrated in Unified HUD (probably in the next few days), those of you who are using other mods that modify existing/add new HUD elements should consider using the manual installation package, to avoid possible issues.
No need for this mod to be made compatible with both of those. You can adjust where your heat meter is at already. The heat meter also doesn't show up until you start firing.
will this affect mobs to? this is a gread idea on paper (i would also think getting to hot could cause damage to u or anyone else holding the weapon...
I don't think something like this could be properly implemented with the AI. That being said they already fire in bursts, which makes up for it. Both you and the NPCs can't go full auto carefree.
im having some trouble with this. when i use mod guns it over heats so fast. i dont know if this is normal with fully ato guns or mini guns but i been noticing it heats up goddly fast when it comes to very fast firing weapons.

Unfortunately, I still have my problem with the AA-12 Assault Rifle. The weapon heated too quickly, and to 140%, it continues to fire alone, as I play it !
Yet I used your setup functions as indicated in the setting with minimal damages, and the shortest time cooling. It's a shame, because otherwise, even with the heavy M60 machine gun, this is OK.
i like it very much, but in fact i use no hud, so i removed the heat meter, but is working fine the options and the effect, now the firefights are more tactical, i use 3x global damage. i have not tested enough, but this affect NPCs weapons? i mean, it is enough that the enemies have unlimited ammo, if this is true they cannot cast a storm of bullets on me anymore
i use iHUD and Dinamic crosshair, for those to work together i inserted a bunch of text from the "Dinamic crosshair hud_main_menu.xml" to the "iHUD hud_main_menu.xml", now i dont have hud health, compass, AP etc, etc. only the crosshair, and of course i have all the interactive pop ups, pick up, open, etc,etc.
i say all this cause all of u who wants the hud meter crybabys. is more simple with the manual installation, in fact is not manual is automatic just run an .exe and your already existing hud_main_menu.xml of anymod u have is edited and get the code inserted automatically
This mod was working great for awhile and then suddenly it just stopped working. I have no idea why. I tried to turn it off and back on but that didn't do anything. When I try to hit right shift + backspace the menu doesn't pop up, it just makes the game stutter. It is last in my load order. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
