Name: BETTER TRADER REPAIRS
Version: 1.0
Date: 17/10/2012
Category: Gameplay Effects and Changes
Author(s): vaultdwller
Description:
Ever stumbled across a scavenger with your weapon in very poor condition and thought - you beauty! now I can get this weapon
repaired to do a bit more damage.....
This mod increases the repair skill of scavengers and traders throughout the wasteland including DLC's whilst
keeping things realistic within the Fallout 3 wasteland.
Details:
Scavengers will randomly have between 30 - 60 repair skill so they are actually
useful in repairing as you stumble across them.
Traders have between 50 - 85 so they too are useful in this area. e.g. Ken Ewers, Panada, Winthrop,
Shrapnell, Uncle Roe (just to name a few) are, instead of being low are now between 50 - 85.
Have tried to capture all NPC's (includ. DLC's) that repair, and improve them, NOTE - Doc Hoff is unchanged, he is just a doctor after all.
Not going to list them all as it will remove the 'suprise and relief" factor from stumbling across them.
If I have missed any, well, sorry, it is
the wasteland and not everyone can repair things I suppose.
This is my first mod so feedback would be appreciative.
Install:
1. Copy the .esp file to your install folder :Fallout 3\Data\(if not already in there)
2. Start Fallout Mod Manager, place a checkmark beside the .esp file.
Uninstall:
1. Start Fallout Mod Manager, uncheck the .esp file(s).
2. Delete the .esp file from folder \Fallout 3\Data\
Known Issues or Bugs:
If there are any let me know. Can't see any conflicts unless you have a mod that effects repair from NPC's.
Usage:
I created this mod for my own gaming experience but it worked so well I thought I would share it
and hopefully you will enjoy and find it handy. Feel free to improve if you want to but please give me
credit
