    found the kid in Megaton and her voice is a very creepy stylised version of the Disney version of Alice which is off putting but even after telling her to follow you she just stands there also she has a lot of 10mm ammo but no named weapon so unless these issues are fixed i am going to avoid this and use the Nexus mod companion Scratch ( https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods )true Scratch is unvoiced but is less creepy than Alice and is just better

    New Issues... #1 Her find Alice mission wont check off even though I found her... #2 Fought my way through funland but cant find the key to the cell... If the mutant had it he fell through the floor when he died... If it was on a table my nuka grenades likely blew the key where I cant get it... #3 My companions couldn't follow me through the hatter side of funland but can through the wasteland side... #4 some enemy's in funland spawned inside the wall, had to TCL to get them #5 her voice volume tapers off real fast so you cant hear her even a short distance away... #6 She wont wait or sneak, sometimes my other mod followers wont sneak after I change cells. I can correct this by talking to this and they seem to wake up. Doesn't wake up Alice and if I tell her to wait or go back to megaton she just follows me anyway... #7 I fixed her face "crazy goose nose and villain eyebrows" in the GECK but for some reason her head is much more pale than her body causing a neck issue that I cant seem to fix... This has happened to some of the followers I briefly added to the game and bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1 isn't working for me... If this is typed wrong I copied it this way from someone that said this would fix that.  Didn't seem to change anything though. #8 the mutant in the last room ran around like he couldn't find me before he eventually died and fell through the floor... I really thought this would be a case of unfinished quest which would be fine for me but half the basic follower functions don't even work... I got sucked in by the tease of a voiced follower for Fallout 3 but after trying to fix this all night trying to make it work I just feel like I got punked. This had the potential to be the coolest follower mod for Fallout 3 all it needs is some spit and polish to iron out the kinks from someone that has enough experience with companion scripts... Maybe I care enough to learn myself after this most epic tease.

    I'm looking in her scripts like they said in the post and cant find the alicefollow script only the aliceaction script. If I click on AI package I find AliceFollow pack which doesn't look how they described on the post... If I click on script there is only one alice script and it says alicetalk and the only line I find is "time to go" Please tell me where in the GECK do I find the lines to copy the follow script from female to male. I'm looking everywhere the geck will let me and cant find the line... Edit: had to watch a GECK tutorial that gave me a good enough hint I was lookin in the wrong spot, I was looking under NPC's but it was the speech bubble at the top for anyone that needs to know...

    I can't get her to follow me either. I hope the author will not abandon this mod. It shows a lot of potentials, though it has some serious issues need fixing. And just my opinion: I find Alice's skin is too pale and unhealthy, especially that she has red hair. Maybe you can improve that in the future?

      Alice will follow female players but not male players because of a missing script on the male dialogue in the .esp file. Best way to fix it is to use the Garden of Eden Creation Kit or FO3Edit and find the 'AliceFollow' Dialogue topic. As I recall you copy the scripts from the female condition reply script box to the empty male condition reply script box.

      I tried to do that, on three separate times, and each time it made my game crash on start up. Touching Alice's Dialogue causes crash on start up for me and I don't know why.

      For Male players the Result Script is blank therefore the quest won't advance and she won't follow you. If you're playing as a female character you don't need to worry about this.
      Need to insert the following in the Result Script (End) box using GECK program in Topics 'AliceFollow' 'Okay mister, let's go!' (You'll find it in Alice's scripts)

      'Alice 4b replacer esp' in the old versions is stable enough to work with. Even managed to convert it for Tale of Two Wastelands.

      Insert what? you didn't say what to insert, or what script rather

      EDIT: nevermind, just copy the stuff in the script box for females over to males

    I've been looking for a voiced companion mod for fallout 3 and ran across Alice. I was excited to see she even has quests and her own voice actor! In game I found her and saw a crazy bump on her nose like she took a hardball pitch to the face... So I went into the GECK and smoothed out her face some. Back in game I found her again after a successful corrective surgery on her nose... I ran through her dialog and only got text... I asked her to follow my male character and she agreed but just stood there... Some mod companion's like the Amata follower didn't really follow me until after I slept once so I went home and slept. Alice was still outside in the same spot and was still silent except for the "Hello Mister" that every base game child says I forgot to check the grave before taking her note as I loader her in an existing playthrough. I'm not very far in the story at all as I'm just playtesting mods before I start a real game to be sure everything is working right... I was wondering If there was a more up to date version of this available as this was last updated 9 years ago and seems to have many people who love the mod and the work you put into it "including me". If this was abandoned, I'd like a few tips on how to get her voice and follow package working as my modding exp is limited to changing item stats and lite mesh edits. I have no idea how or where in the GECK I find the follower packages and voice files or how they work... If this is 1/8th as good as the Sofia companion for Skyrim you will have made the best follower mod for Fallout 3 ever! I tried to get her to follow me with Sharing Caring Companions but was afraid that might only break her even more. I also tried to give her a better looking haircut but it didn't take and would also like advice on how it can be done... Many people are starting to revisit this classic game and shocked to find the mods they loved are either gone or left in there original state of WIP with very few useable mods due to the latest patch. I had to run a down-grader to get FOSE to work... Anyhow I hope your well in these covid times cuz I'm not, and I didn't even go anywhere except the hospital for my 3 vaccine shots in the past 3 years hence the modding old games... If this mod is still alive please let your fans have a chance to enjoy it or at least tell me what I need to know to finish it for you for my own personal use. I wouldn't want to be accused of stealing your credit on the nexus and never upload my own mods as they alter too many items and the need for patches would be almost endless...     Very polite little cutie isn't she? She follows me where ever I go with no problems. I changed a few things on her like I gave her super weapons, a different outfit, and increased her movement speed. Need to raise the volume on her voice though cos sometimes I can't hear what she's saying.

    Thanks for sharing her. She's now a permanent companion in my game.

    Only problem i see at the moment she does not crouch/sneak,

    Edit:might be because she is companion #5.. after #1 Clover, #2 Amanda (Ties That Bind), #3 Raelyn, and #4 Vanessa, (Though New Vegas doesn't have that problem.. first time modding around with Fallout 3 though)

    Edit2: modified the script she now sneaks.. but i found another problem anytime i tell her to "wait here" she walks off to her house in Megaton doesn't matter if i am in the Washington Monument or my own Megaton House
