I've finished the mod. items glow and you can choose what color they are. while it's not as bright as i want. it's bright enough to be seen from across a room.
I have other ideas to add to it, but those can be done later. the heart of the mod that I wanted to make is finished.

GLOWING ITEMS V2
This mod adds two terminals to Megaton next to the player home entrance. Terminal 1 lets you
choose what items you want to glow. Terminal 2 lets you choose what color the items will glow. on
the table next to the two terminals is a pair of sunglasses. equipping those will make the selected
items glow.

Armor Weapons Books Clothing Containers Ingredients Miscellaneous Ammo Alchemy
Terminal 2
Red White Blue Green Purple Pink Yellow
Every time you enter a new interior cell you need to re-equip the sunglasses. I don't know about exterior cells, some feed back on that would be nice since I'm not actively playing the game at the moment.

I've started working on fallout new vegas version of this mod that uses equipment and scripts, so I'll be getting to this version when i finish with it.
Their is no time frame for when I'll get started on this mod because I'm trying to learn what I can do with reference walking.... -
I got the items in the weapons folder to work. I was using the wrong color for the glow map, but they are working now....

I've added all but these ammo items.
32 Caliber, 5.56mm, BB, Energy Cell, Mesmetron Power Cell, Sonic Energy, MiniNuke, MicroFusion Cell, Missle Do not glow.
I can't seem to get them to glow.... -
I've added holodisk to my mod. they glow light blue almost silver, so they should be easier to see....

The geck has 2 pre-war books listed and only one shows up when you search for pre. I added the wrong book, but I just uploaded a file that has the right book....

I've added Blamco Mac and Cheese, Bubblegum, Cram, Dandy Boy Apples, Fancy Lads Snack Cakes, InstaMash, Junk Food, Pork N' Beans, Potato Crisps, Gum Drops, YumYum Deviled Eggs....

I've made the main file an fomod and the other main files optional. now you can choose what you want to glow.

I've added Pre-war money, Beer, Scotch, Wine, Vodka....

Because Glowing Items & Ingestables is gone. I've filled the void with my own stuff. everything that it had, I now have glowing....

I've added tin cans both bent and non bent that glow silver. this is for those that use repair rethought....

I've added an optional file that makes bobble heads glow aqua blue. it is not part of the Glowing items - All file....
