This is a great ENB, sad to see so little endorsments, it really deserves more attention due to the way it enchances the visuals of the game without going overboard unlike any other enb I tried at Fallout 3 Nexus. Subtle but very effective. Kudos to the creator.
This ENB is exactly what I'm looking for but i get this weird bug where the screen flashes with this red orb, goes really dark then slowly goes back to normal. Any idea what could be causing this? Keep up the good work!
I think I've tried just about every ENB preset on this site, and I must say this one suits my tastes best. I adore it, it's great for the general look of the game, post-apocalyptic enough for me anyways, and it's beautiful for screenshots. Thanks so much for this!
I will start working on this again, once I find the time. I just found a new job and had to move across the country, I hadn't the time to do so just now.
If anyone else is having strange effects with blurring, try disabling the depth of field in the enbseries.ini file. Also, I was having performance issues that I couldn't pinpoint, getting around 40 fps where I was sure I should be able to play at 60 fps (I have a GTX 660). I did as the author suggested and disabled ambient occlusion in the ini file and bang, solid 60 fps with no noticeable difference in quality.
Also, this enb is really nice. Brings out the colours in fallout without losing the post-apocalyptic feel that I felt was missing in Fallout New Vegas. Thanks.
Thank you, it was in fact the bloom causing the majority of the problem. I lowered it to .5 and it seems to be much better. I had actually forced nvidia already with no change. My only problem now is the Depth of Field seems to dislike me. I tried disabling the double blur without much improvement, but there are so many depth of field options I'm not sure what to do.
As you can see, it's blurry everywhere. I can tell the DoF is working because it does change in some cases and focus on different things, but even something I'm standing on top of and looking straight at isn't in focus. Even my gun appears a bit blurry.
Edit: Alright, so I increased the DoF radius and slightly lowered the image grain and it is looking much more like the screenshots now. So if anyone ever has trouble with the older ENB series and has an ATI/AMD card, particularly 7970, try doing that as well as lowering bloom. I'm loving the ENB so far, it's perfect.
@Veltoss: I don't know for sure but you might have a problem because the ENB doesn't natively support AMD cards. In you enbseries.ini file, if you haven't already, go into that and where it says forceNvidiaCard = false, change it to ForceNvidiaCard = True
Also looks like the bloom might be off. You can try turning those values down in the enbseries.ini too and see if that helps.
I'm using a 7970 Radeon AMD card, have AA turned off and have it turned off in the ini file, so I don't think this is my problem. However, I'm getting some kind of blurring and weird effects ingame. I tried loading a different save, going inside and out, saving and then loading that save, etc. Do you know what might be wrong?
It looks worse ingame or with bigger pictures, but I had to downsize them a bit. You can still see the obvious blurring and effects that seem wrong compared to your screenshots.
