I downloaded the version with WMK support and tracers. Weapons upgraded with the help of WMK have increased speed bullets, but tracers do not work =(( But overall, the mod is great. Thanks for it!
If you want to remove tracer bullets from your weapon, I can suggest you the "No Tracer Effect", mod. The essence of the mod is that it does not make any changes to G.e.c.k, it solves the problem of tracer bullets, the conventional image retouching dds images. Try it and I'm sure you'll like it.
Hello everyone I'm planning on updating this mod and try to figure out how to get rid of tracers in VATS. HOWEVER, that might be difficult because it's integrated in Fallout 3's engine. I'll update when I figure out a way, cheers!
Late to reply to this but I must assert my preference for tracers. I took time loading and configuring my FWE to actually retain tracers for all projectiles-guns that could have them. To put it in other words, if I may be allowed to offer my thoughts here early in the morning while the coffee is still percolating in my brain:
It is for me always the fact that we are playing a game, and like drama there is a place for spectacle. My real life is professionally occupied with disease and injury, blood and guts, bodies and the threats of death, so in a game like this where all of the realistic aspects of human contingency are present in a wonderful variety of expressions, I find the art of the game to be more important than those tendencies to emphasize primary needs or a strict depiction of what is in any case always an artificial attempt to make the game seem to be more (somehow) realistic when it is not possible for it really to be so--except of course for us who enjoy, imaginitively and with belief in our actual lives and the world around us suspended, entering into this secondary reality as if it is real like my professional work is real, only here in the game the reality is evoked by the remarkable encounter of the mind and hands of the gamer with the genius of the game and mod makers who provide us with this awe-inspiring opportunity to enrich ourselves through play. I offer these thoughts also with a desire to promote my philosophy of pc gaming as play (similar platforms included), which is my work-in-progress. Enjoy.
I have a question regarding the versions. WMK versions are 6.0 – I don't use WMK at the moment. The vanilla version with tracers is 5.0, while the one without tracers is 5.1. Minor fixes. What if I'd like to use the tracers version, will I have bugs with v5.0?
Sorry for the VERY late reply, yes it includes all bugfixes. The reason why they have different versions is because of things I've initially overlooked. Minor fixes.
any more comments about FWE compatablity in light of the fact that the FWE Compatability list (item 114 on the list), found in the FWE website among the Load Order + Compatability items , indicates the presence of a similar "faster bullets" feature already in FWE, stating that a mod called "Faster Bullets" is therefore incompatable?

I dont want this mod to make the game more easy or difficult...
In other words..
Vanilla FO3 bullet = 400 Feet Per Seconds
This mod = 1,000 FPS to 3,000 FPS
