This is driving me insane, I'm testing out this mod on a caravan guard (Crow) outside Rivet city and no matter what I do he is invincible.
I have the game on "easy", I installed this, and installed another global damage multiplier mod so that all weapons do 5x more damage. I changed this mod's headshot setting to 20x (instead of 10x) using Xedit.
I point blank shoot Crow directly in the face and he still only loses 1 bar of health and just runs away. Is there a special NPC setting for friendlies or something?
God I absolutely HATE that aspect of all fallout games. I don't care what "level" you are, if I shoot your naked head with my rifle you're DEAD. But I can't get this to work for the life of me.
For those having trouble with limb being in Spanish, simply go into FO3Edit, and change the names of the limbs back to English under the "body part" of every section the mod has. If you also have the VATS mod that comes with this, you need to edit its names too.
Huh, could you make this apply to animals and super mutants too? Robots are controlled by a computer locked under impenetrable metal and and insects have a thick exoskeleton on their heads, so those are still good. It just feels weird that super mutants have their heads totally exposed yet still won't die from a high caliber sniper rifle bullet to the head.
Well, They ARE SUPER Mutants, I would understand AT LEAST 2 bullets to kill them in da face. one to cripple and the other kills it. unless the first shot was a critical.
Hey really enjoiyng the mod! Kudos. I have 1 question tho. or rather a statement. it does not seem to be compatible with Poiont lookout? Could you or anyone else confirm this?
Not sure how, but this mod makes it so that the hit rate on heads in VATS is significantly reduced. The thing is, I didn't activate the VATS-reducing .esp file, so I'm not sure why it's doing it. Otherwise, great work!
