Does this work with NMM? Or should I manually install it since I don't use FOMM?

I'd expect NMM will handle it fine... On a good day, at least. I'd really recommend switching to FOMM because of NMM's buggy tendencies.

NMM really does not work well with Fo3. I learned that the hard way. New Vegas, on the other hand handles NMM much better (along with many other things since Bethesda sucks).

I've had no real problems with FOMM though.

Same here. FOMM Fork is all I have ever used. Along with LOOT. You just need to know what to overwrite. I always start with UUP and large overhauls first. Never tried NMM or Vortex. Never will. Heard too many horror stories about them.

great texture pack, but assorted papers and calendar looks definitely too clear. if you could do a little update and make them more dirty and old-looking it would be awesome. anyway it's a must have mod, thank you for your work

For some reason it takes me 3 hours to download. No issues with any other mods...

    Thanks for the mod!

I like it because it doesn't change the textures much, other packs change too much

Thanks for sharing this mod. I'm a little confused. Because I like to hand pick textures, I couldn't help but notice the file names on some of these are suspect. Does FO3 really read nv_paradisefallsdoor.dds? If this is a direct port of your new vegas mod then the next question is; why is new vegas using file names (paradise falls) like that? It's just too strange, figured I would ask to satisfy my curiousity.

No need for confusion, if you add 1+1 together you'll find that those can only be remnants of my NV version. The makers just used assets of FO3 and gave them a nv_ suffix for reasons unknown to man(probably distinction). They won't do any harm other than sit around in an unused folder. You can delete them if you need to save 1 or 2 MB of HDD/SSD space and have time for such things in your life.

I'm not going to do recon on em. I was just curious why the artists on the dev team named and placed their files the way they did. Oh well, thanks again.

Or you could search the texture folder for "nv" and delete those files, which only takes 2 seconds of your time

At least for the toolbox you could use Ojo Bueno's retexture. It's within the 'Objects V1' download: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/39755
    Filepath:
    Data/Textures/Clutter/Junk/toolbox.dds and /toolbox_n.dds
Should work in F3 just the same way.

Thanks for the toolbox tip.....I incorporated Ojo Bueno's toolbox dds, toolbox_n.dds and the associated mesh with my MG's Neat Cluter.7z and it worked and looked great. Thanks a lot.

Between NMC's texture pack, MG's Neat Clutter, and UHQ Terrain Overhaul, my game is looking awesome.

Thanks for sharing your great work Mental Gear! Endorsed.

Excellent Texture pack! Goes great when combined with NMC's pack, but I am experiencing a shifting texture/mesh with Holotapes. Do these MODS conflict in any way?
