I use Vortex for my Fallout 3 mods but it doesn't seem that this mod can be downloaded with a mod manager. Can anyone tell me how to go about manually installing this mod?
Alot of older mods for Fallout 3 and Oblivion do not download or install well on Vortex and certainly not NMM. NMM or Vortex are much better at Skyrim, Fallout 4.
New Vegas is 1/2 way between.
With Fallout 3 you want Fallout Mod Manager or FOMM... you especially want it with any .FOMOD files.
Oblivion you want a mix of OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager) and Wrye bash. Wrye bash won't let you pick options well for .OMOD files but does everything else better.
Could i use this for DC moods? I'd heard once that DC moods was based upon Fellout, but I'm not sure if that would mean this would work. if nothing else- do i risk breaking something if i try? thx in advance
I can't get anywhere near to the brightness shown in the screenshot. Without this and just Fellout (no ENB or anything) my nights literally are pitch black and I can't see the ground beneath my invisible feet. With this mod I can at least see the surrounding ground and objects, but it's still incredibly dark.
Where are people getting darker night mods from in my game its a vanilla night and its quite seeable , so I'm shopping for a darkler nights mod like the few in fo4 , I use a darker interioors mod, just cant find one for outdoors I also use a pipboy night vison mod but still wo0uld benefit better from a dark out doors mod ? ty
This works fine for me using 100+ mods. It's not drastically brighter but it's no longer pitch black. If Fellout stock is before your eyes have adjusted to the darkness, this mod is after they've adjusted. I think that's a pretty accurate comparison. It does the job well.

This solved my problem, with Fellout removing the green tint and this removing Fellout's questionable pitch black nights.
