12 years old... damn I started my journey in fallout 2 months ago. This mod is perfect, no need for changes, the only thing that bugged me was the quest but with a quick glance at the comments section it was made clear where was the key (clever btw). If you're reading this, download it. It's cool, it works and gives some life to FO3. Good job stranger 👍
The key is actually on the ground right in front of the locked door! Hopefully you found it, since this comment is months old, but I thought I'd reply so the next person had help too. :)
I'm super-late to this party - it's 3 years since the last comment. In case anyone else is new and comes along, look for this bug I found. I couldn't go down into any closed-door "cellar" type locations like the morgue or the ritual cave with this mod installed. It would say something about the doors being rusty and stuck and me not wanting to spend the time and energy to open them, or something like that. It stopped my quests. I removed this mod and I could again go down into the subterranean places. I noticed in the comments that a few years ago, other people couldn't get OUT of caves - they had no key and had to use cheat codes to get out. It seems to be related; has to do with entering underground locales. I tried using a cheat code to get in ("activate") and it would let me in, but then I'd get stuck right there and the message I mentioned would just keep popping up and not let me move. Otherwise, if you don't get this bug, this was a great follower and a fun guy. Neat accent and I was happy to have him along. Wish it were still 2012 so I could tell the modder all that and maybe he could fix it. Cheers!
Nice companion but could do without the childish personality and voice. This mod also seems to hate another fallout 3 mod, companions don't steal xp one. It always unchecks it every start up of the game. Uninstalling this companion mod fixes that.
I know this is really old, and the mod author probably isn't keeping up with it, but does anyone know the correct RPID for Ronald? I am trying to make him essential, but cannot figure out his ID. The reference ID you get when you open the console and click him, does not work.
Edit. Figured it out with FO3Edit. So nevermind. Endorsed.
When you click on the actor write "GBO" first then copy the ID you get from that, an easier way to find out. though I suspect you already figured that out in the two years since this comment was posted.
