Not sure where all the very positive comments come from - they caused me to expect something quite sublime. So I was very underwhelmed by sparse lore & backstory. Boring notes & emails (with no flow because I found them piece-meal and chronologically scattered). There were gaping holes into cell-less voids when I re-approached several stairwells. Placing a "vault" (which you soon find is) on the top floor is frankly stupid in any structural engineering or security sense! A supercomputer lair ends up being totally uneventful, and the potentially interesting underground stuff is all just a collapsed dead-end. I found keys & means to get in the attic "vault" but it was all mundane gear. Maybe in 2012 this was deemed cool, but in 2021 after playing various other mods, this one seems notably below par and a somewhat glitchy. Uninstalled.

Just played through this last night. Brilliant back story and great for exploring. The reward at the end is...really something.
    Good work mate, endorsed

Great mod for explorers and anyone who wants more character depth than action, or just likes to open every desk drawer and filing cabinet. Fascinating and moving insights into what those people were doing on that last day and what happened to them. I really enjoyed it. Superb way to bring some "life" in a credible way to an otherwise unremarkable building that the majority of players just pass by. I must have walked past it several dozen times in every play through.

The final "payoff" might seem overly generous, but if you read all the personal emails and computer chats, and bear in mind what Muldoon was actually attempting to do and the effort he was prepared to put in to make it happen, it makes sense within the context of the story. The location of that final reward seems odd at first until you recall what was special about the building's design. I initially thought things would be the other way round, but the author put a clever twist on my expectations.

A few flickering textures especially around door jambs, no navmesh, but the author did point out these minor flaws. The latter was an inconvenience at best, I had to keep backtracking to the netrance to dump loot onto my follower who was sworn to carry my burdens (she didn't sound convincing about it either.) I got stuck in the clipping a few times. Security system deactivation did not work for me, but I don't know if it was even meant to, given the IT problems that were revealed earlier in the narrative.

Really a very well-written mod that kept me engrossed for several hours.

I just finished this mod for the first time and I must say it was incredible. I spent a great deal of time exploring (HOURS!) and reading and EXPERIENCING that fateful October day through the story told here. I was impressed by the depth and detail and I was so incredibly moved and felt great emotion by the end. Even though I'm very late to the party considering the release date, I'll still refrain from too much specificity about my emotions so as to contain the spoiler potential.

Most of the feedback I would give has essentially been given already. To those who may still try this I will state that if you are using this with a harsher playthrough setup (FWE, etc) you will need to exercise some restraint and discretion in a couple of places. That being said, while the rewards are OP for that kind of setup (maybe even a little for vanilla!) do not let that stop you from installing this mod. I highly encourage anyone to play through this mod if you play Fallout for the story of it all. General Varus' literary skill shines through and brings to life a slew of characters you never really meet with more depth than most of the actual game NPCs you interact with regularly.

I can't wait to visit Trenton Towers and the Franklin Mall....

I am not entirely done with the mod yet, but I love it so far! This mod gives exactly what I feel the main game is lacking so much, locations that are actually backed up with some interesting stories. Most of the placed in FO3 look "interesting", but once you explored them you notice that there is no real story told, no terminals or notes you can find.
Anyways, I endorsed this mod and I hope more people will give it a shot. The messages on the terminals are lovely written and give an insight in what happened with the people in that company during the war.

Nice mod, Great interior to explore, nice and lore friendly location and style.

I liked the feel of exploring a building and investigating the events of the past amid the ruins, a little glimpse of Survivors shortly after the great war, with some nice bits of pre war history in there.
Something I would have appreciated more of int he Game, sure fighting monsters is fun and all, but I really wished there had been more history of the past in the game to find, more notes left behind, terminal entries left long ago, that sort of thing, and this mod did a good job of satisfying my curiosity into this buildings past , unlike some building and instillations in the base game that left me wanting for info

Had a few texture based glitches, but nothing serious, and i did miss the key on the ground and had to back track to pick it up as it wasn;t easy to see, but I probably should have been more thorough in my visual search, I get used to the game normally putting things like that in a body inventory or breifcase, Having it be on the floor and harder to see was more of a challenge and I like that

Would someone who has completed this mod mind pm me on how to get into the vault? I'm stuck even though it seems I have some of it figured out. I don't want to leave any spoilers.
    Thanks

There isn't one.  You have this confused with Trenton Towers.

There is a vault at the "end" of the mod.  More specifically, I'm talking about the Muldoon Electronics store's vault on the Executive level next to the security station.
