    8/10. Silenced rifle is nice, VATS accuracy is nice. But when shooting out of VATS, I still have to aim a bit lower than there I want the bullet to hit.

    I believe the reasoning (If there is any) for this on Bethesda's part is because the barrel of this rifle is so long, by the time the bullet leaves the gun the recoil from firing it has lifted the barrel a bit. Which is kinda dumb, real sniper rifles don't work that way. If anything you should need to aim a bit higher to compensate for the bullet drop, but the sniper rifles in this and most video games have such short ranges that the bullet should end up virtually dead center in the middle of the recticle.

      well really it should be on the money at 25 meters go up like 4/5 MOA at 50 meters then back down to the place where you aimed at 100 meters and from there it just goes down

    Yes, bullets do seem to be traveling upwards. For long distances I find mysef aiming at the enemies feet or lower to compensate. Vertically it is very accurate, This mod does work with costoms like the SVD, so no worries about conflict there. Would be perfect if the bullets did the opposite effect they did now. I am not a modder so I am hopeless at figuring this out lol.

      If you research ballistics it would support what you're stating, how the bullet actually comes out of the barrel at an upward angle. Since I haven't checked the mod yet, I agree that any advances made to the sniper rifle are much needed! I understand if the mod doesn't account for the drop in trajectory over long distances, but the reception sounds mostly positive for this mod.

    Great mod, though I think you should change the silenced snipers location for those of us who blew up Megaton. or instead of moving it you could add another to somewhere like Tenpenny's suite, so good characters can get it from Megaton and evil people can steal it

    Do custom sniper rifles count? Like the dragunov?

    Does this conflict with "Weapon Mod Kits" by antistar?

    How does this mod increase accuracy out of VATS, like the rifle holds still or just goes where you point it? Also, I really like Alexscorpion's Sniper Gear, and he uses unique weapons made from scratch that in VATS don't miss at all no matter the weapon but out of vats it's like you ran a marathon and are trying to snipe, so will it work, do nothing, or interfere with his no-miss VATS thing he's got goin'?

    Does this change accuracy of new weapons that mods add to the game?

    I would LOVE the silenced sniper rifle... only problem is that it's in the megaton armory and I well... blew megaton into smithereens ^_^;

    So a new location for it would be nice <img class=">

    Does this set spread to 0, or is it some other kind of accuracy effect?

    Much needed update for sniping, I'm surprised Bethesda hasn't fixed the accuracy in any of their patches, accuracy is an essential part of long range combat.

    I have Accurate Sniper Rifles, a mod by phobos2077 that enhances VATS accuracy for scoped weapons, but doesn't improve the actual out-of-VATS accuracy. (It actually worsens it a little bit!)

    Get it here; for VATS snipers: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=734

    I will try this mod while running Accurate Sniper Rifles, and see if it conflicts. If not, then these two mods are the must have for anyone planning on using a scoped weapon. Will report back soon!

    Overall, 9/10 rating, excellent fix.
