Would it be possible for this mod to be ported to New Vegas with Tale of Two Wastelands installed? I could do it myself with a little tinkering but before I try I want to know if it's at all possible and to get the author's permission I guess, not that I'd release it publicly. Just want it for personal use really.
I would love that as well. Save-scuming sucks. Some NPC can be mezzled only after 5+ tries. Some cannot be mezzled at all. Which are which? Nobody knows.
This is the way I got it to work, and I haven't had any issues so far.
XEDIT:
1.Load up xEdit and choose the following ESMs along with this mod's esp: FalloutNV.esm; ALL FNV DLC ESMs (Except the Caravan/Classic/Mercenary/Tribal Pack.esm); Fallou3.esm; ALL FO3 DLC; TaleOfTwoWastelands.esm.
After you've loaded them, right click on the mod's esp and click add masters, and add the masters above.
2. After that sort the masters and save the esp.
3. Download the TTW Conversion scripts for xEdit.
4. Load the esp back up and right click it and click Apply Script(s). In the drop down menu select the TTW Conversion Script and then press ok; when prompted which file to choose, pick the TTWConversion.csv.
5. After that go into the esp itself and select the conflicting script.
6. Double click the script source (scn MS13MesmetronEffectScript) in the TaleOfTwoWastelands.esm.
7. You'll see AFTER the line:
";ModPCMiscStat 'People Mezzed'"
there is the entry:
"set TTWPCMiscStatPeopleMezzed to (TTWPCMiscStatPeopleMezzed + 1) if TTWPCMiscStatPeopleMezzed < 51 IncrementScriptedChallenge TTWChallengeMezzmerized endif".
Copy this and save it to a txt file.
GECK:
1. Make sure in the GECKCustom.ini you have "bAllowMultipleMasterLoads" set to 1
2. Load all of the masters and set the MesmetronWorksOnEveryone.esp as the active plugin.
3. Click the pencil in the top bar. Click on Script, then Open. Select the MS13MesmetronEffectScript.
4. Scroll down to "; track anyone actually mezzed here ModPCMiscStat "People Mezzed", 1"
5. Select just right after the "1" and press enter. Paste the lines you copied from xEdit right below it, and press enter again the type "endif" (if it isnt already there, just make sure there is a space between the pasted script and the "endif"). Also be sure to place a ; before the "ModPCMiscStat" line.
6. Finally click Script, then Save. Go to File and Save. Exit the GECK.
This should be all you have to do, and there shouldn't be any pop ups when you enter the game saying you have an unconverted mod.
i tried enslaving a number of people and after a certain amount the game would crash after the next enslavement, im not sure if this is a problem with ram or game space but i wouldnt try enslaving too many people (not matter how much you hate them) unless you know how to fix this problem. would anyone know what the cause of this problem is?
is there any mod that makes it so that once the collar is on, the slaves will not fight back when hit?
right now in my game i mezzed someone, crippled both their legs with my slave-beating stick, took their clothes and collared them, and now im following them all the way to Paradise Falls.
id like to be able to beat them with the stick periodically, but whenever i do they try to fight me and i have to kill them.
im disapointed, i want my guy to be an evil slaver, but theres no whips, and now i find out i cant even beat the slaves ">
i guess ill have to settle for chasing the homeless guys away from town with my stick ">
@peyemaster Most likely i'd say the NPCs in question might still be tagged as essential. As far as i can tell there's two types of essential. The type that never dies and the type that will die if shot by the player in the head. Which NPCs were you trying it on exactly? And are you sure you had a slave collar to use?
I tried it on a bunch of non-essential quest characters in megaton and the dialog to put the slave collar on them will not come up. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem. Aside from this problem awsome mod!
