About this mod

Grab all 20 Bobbleheads doing the Blood Ties quest and up to the Jefferson Memorial of the Main quest.

Permissions and credits
Notice: It was reported that the quest version would not place bobbleheads on the display stand. I fixed the esp and uploaded the new version 1.1. All you need to do is replace the current esp with version 1.1. You do not need to start a new game. Simply start your game and the esp will update the bobblehead variable so that you can now place your bobbleheads on the display stand. The non-quest version is unaffected and does not need to be replaced. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The Main Questline in Fallout 3 was meant to be played first, I mean would anyone roam around the wasteland for 8 months then go, "Hey wonder what ever happened to the old man?" You left Vault 101 to find your dad, but you got sidetracked by the glitz and glitter of Megaton. Okay, so if you do the main quest first, then what about the Bobbleheads? What were they thinking scattering them all over the wasteland. It does not do much good to find a Bobblehead when your Science skill is 70+. Bobbleheads are most beneficial when they are found relatively early in the game, say before level 10. I played for over 80 hours trying to focus on getting the Bobbleheads, sure running some dungeons along the way, I was at level 20+, just to the Jefferson Memorial, and I only had 16 Bobbleheads. Come on.

Well if you are like me then this mod is for you. Now you can grab all the Bobbleheads in a relatively short time. I left five Bobbleheads in their current location and moved the other fifteen. I integrated seven into the Main Quest, so by the time you get to the Jefferson Memorial Control Room you could have them all. The remaining thirteen have been integrated into a Bobblehead Run. When you meet Lucy West in Megaton and agree to deliver her message, you will begin the Blood Ties Quest and be on your way to nabbing most of the Bobbleheads. By the time you have completed the quest, during which you have to talked to Evan and Vance two different times, you will have fifteen Bobbleheads. You do not have to actually do the Blood Ties quest, you could just grab all the Bobbleheads including Endurance after gaining entrance to Meresti (Vance's room) and not complete the quest, but I have located them so that if you complete the Blood Ties quest you could come across thirteen Bobbleheads. Now I'm gonna to nab the Bobbleheads, find my Daddy, and then scavenge the wasteland at my leisure.

I have created a Quest version of Bobblehead Run. There was a request to create a version which pointed you to the Bobblehead locations using the Pipboy, so you would not need a paper list or map. The way I decided to implement this was to create a quest with the Bobbleheads as objectives. That way you can go to the Pipboy, select the Bobblehead Run quest and all Bobblehead locations are indicated with direction on the World Map. If you are in the same cell as the Bobblehead and select Local Map, then the actual Bobblehead loaction is indicated as an objective, sorry but no name is shown. I also created map markers for each bobblehead location. The map markers only locate the exterior cell where the bobblehead is, not the exact spot where the Bobblehead is sitting. Example: the Science Bobblehead map marker is outside Vault 106, not in the Living Quarters cell next to the Bobblehead. The map markers allow you to see the Bobblehead location on your Pipboy even when the Quest is not selected, sorry no fast travel. The map markers are visible immediately and are named. This way you can grab the Bobbleheads in any order that you want, you know which one is where. As you find a bobblehead, the map marker will be marked for delete, disappear from the Pipboy, and the objective completed on the Quest screen.

Simply copy the esp into the Data directory of Fallout 3.

Included with the esp file is a jpg image that shows each Bobblehead and what the surrounding area looks like.

Note: the numbers in parenthesis reference Prima's map for Fallout 3.
