I really like the textures in this mod. They look great! However,the textures only show when YOU are holding the weapons. Any other NPC will have the old textures which ruined it for me. If that’s not an issue for you then go all in. Otherwise, I would suggest using another mod like HI-RES WEAPONSV3.
Submachine guns and assault rifles look really awesome from this mod, but the textures for the ordinary 10mm pistol are so good that they actually make me want to use this weapon that I usually throw away during my playthrough - good job! These are the best weapon textures I've honestly ever seen on either fallout games on both nexus sites. Though I prefer the default hi-res versions of the vanilla combat shotguns and use the textures from another mod to replace the ones from these because it makes the shotguns look too well treated or varnished.
