I realize it's a long shot, commenting on a mod that hasn't been updated in over a decade, but: This mod is almost exactly what I've been looking for, but I don't really like the sound of gaining SPECIAL points by leveling up. I much prefer SPECIAL to be mostly-static and very difficult to increase, and I worry that the extra SPECIAL points will result in my character eventually becoming at least passably good in all directions - which is exactly what I'm trying to avoid by getting a mod that makes you gain fewer but stronger perks. And besides, there's already the Intense Training perk. So, is there any way to disable the SPECIAL gain every 5th level while still retaining the other changes made by this mod?
If you dont have this get it. It makes yourplaythrough much more interesting. Combine it with Closer to Classics: Hitpoints, or realistic weapon damages, and see how your style of playing changes
I can agree that restarting over 20 times can be redundant to experience most of the perks and what not, but I found that adding or removing mods helps alter game play enough to make it bearable (on restart 18 using FWE and Increased Mob Spawns).
When I feel like starting over yet again, I'll give this a go and endorse based on results because this looks really promising.
