As of now the left arm clips through the pip boy, I know it's not ideal but at least it's functional. I've looked around for a solution but couldn't find much on it, so I gave up. If anyone is willing to share some tips I'd be grateful.
Is it possible for you to port the enclave remnants power armor to fallout 3? That was my favorite armor from new vegas and would love to have it in 3.
In my game, the right glove clips through the sleeve too, although the clipping on the pip-boy's not really noticeable. This is on the female player model though. It may not happen with the male version. This is with the armor that has the gloves.
if it was New Vegas I would use the "search" command, but I have no idea what FO3 uses. The search command brings up the file name, item name, and numerical code for every item, package, structure, ect....
This is untrue. The mod does in fact work, OP has likely made an error in the installation process I'm assuming and I feel bad saying this because the pfp of a cat makes me feel guilty
The Nexus rules state that you cannot extract information from the base game or DLC files and then post them on the Nexus. Instead you need to extract them from the original files and this also requires you to own the game Fallout: New Vegas. The video below covers the process.
Kain, where do the files from literally every mod besides this one come from? Oh right, the base games and their DLCs. So what's so different about THESE files?
These files (the NV combat armor) aren't in Fallout 3. They're in Fallout: New Vegas, and to extract them directly and port them onto Nexus would be against the rules.
For those who are struggling with this. I made a video on how to install it. I hope it helps. tried to link it in the video tab on this page but it won't let me or maybe it takes time to do so. not sure. either way. here.
So lame. Literally no reason it can't just be tossed into the game like literally every other mod. Oh, you don't own the files? Okay? Literally no mod author owns the files of anything they put into either game, so how come it don't stop any of those but stops this? Makes zero sense. Thanks for giving us this though.
