If "Wasteland" still pops up above the HP bar, there is a conflict. FO3Edit will show you what this is conflicting with. Just in case that was your problem.
Why did you take “The” out of capital wasteland? It sounds better. Plus President Eden always says it In your picture it shows The Capital Wasteland instead of just capital wasteland. I put it back in with FO3Edit so no worries. Also you mixed up the files. The main file says “capital wasteland” and the optional file overwrites as just “wasteland”.
It's not every cell you exit that says Wasteland. When I came out of the Bethsada ruins buidling it actually said Capital Wasteland. It just seems to be most cells.
Was that before or after you installed this? I haven't played 3 in years, so I've forgotten if some cells were marked Capital Wasteland in vanilla.
Some of the outdoor cells do have unique names (mostly around major settlements or landmarks), but most don't. Those un-named outside cells is what this changes.
That was before. And I dont know why.It seems odd the majority of the time Wasteland pops up but in some odd cases,it will say Capital Wasteland. There's a similar issue with New Vegas.Though that has to do with the strip rather the wasteland itself.
I believe that 'Capital Wasteland' is a geographic reference to area of Washington DC and western Maryland. Just ''wasteland' is a generic term for the type of terrain and environment. I don't see anything wrong on Bethesda side.
"Wasteland" just feels too generic to me. "Capital Wasteland" is more... atmospheric. I wanted to change it, so I made this mod, and released it in case anybody else wanted it.
@Proximitus Pretty much every mod that includes the Wasteland Worldspace entry (the official DLCs, overhauls, weather mods, etc.) will override my change. Either stick my mod at the very bottom of your load order or use FO3Edit to combine it with another mod. I recommend the second one if you know how.
@TheTryHard he is using the Darn UI mod, if you look in his description there is a link (http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1121454-wipzbeta-darnified-ui-f3)
