Pretty much, I think. It just makes investing in the caravans more expensive, so there's little to attract any player to add this mod. However, that said, I must say that the vanilla investment amounts are ridiculously low. I mean 200 and 500 caps is nothing - especially to, say, Harith! The vanilla investment levels might just be ok for Wolfgang's junk inventory, but ought to be at the very least doubled for the Doc & Crow (and tripled or quadroupled for Harith). This mod unfortunately increases the same for all four, but at least the amounts are more realistic than vanilla. Hard to knock a mod for that.
This sounds like an excellent realism mod, I'm left wishing it also expanded their inventories slightly more as a result, but it would be a much more complex mod.
So...It doesn't add a third or fourth investment. It just changes the first investment from 200 to say 600 with the 3x file and the 500 to 1500 correct?
This mod only increases the cost of each investment by either 2x, 3x or 4x depending on which file you choose. If you select the 3x file then everytime you invest, for each level, for each merchant, the cost will be increased by 3.
There are still only the 3 levels of inventory. Base, 1st investment, 2nd investment.
So like...does this just increase the cost for investments or does it add the ability to invest 2 more times, granting a much larger inventory to those merchants than the vanilla fully invested merchants?

So I ( Player ) pay more to Uncle Joe - Merchants?
But I am not seeing what I get in return for this enhanced investment?
Thanks ^.-
